If Cory had gotten the third pick, it would have been a "BAILOUT" situation as we all know with $6K.

We do?  Cory seemed like exactly the kind of person who might risk $6,000 in that spot.  Seems silly to say that he definitely would have done one thing over another when we have absolutely no idea what would have happened.

Such as the time when someone famously turned back $5000 on Punchboard...and then Bob found $10,000 in the next hole.

I wouldn't go for it, many in the peanut gallery wouln't, but who's to say someone on stage wouldn't?

Moral: assume nothing.

Drew kind of spoiled what was to be played today when he told Natalie "we're not going to play Plinko right now."

I loved Cory's reaction when Drew told him how close he was to the ARP of the flatware.

I guess some of the audience think the $500 card is still in use and they applaud the $1000 one; even though that the latter has been the tightest range possible for three years now.

I wonder why Caroline did not just hand her cards to Drew when she picked them.  I don't think I have ever seen a Card Game player who has drawn cards in that manner before.

Geez, Drew really likes to get up-close and personal with the camera when he's throwing to commercial after the showcase showdown.

Has anyone ever stuffed the perfect bid bonus down his/her shirt before?  I found that a bit bizarre, when Kathryn came up on stage.

Has there been any other Pass the Buck player who never moved the dollar bill himself under the grocery item?  That's the first time I saw the host move the buck instead of the contestant.

There were interesting shots of William, Drew, Corey and the turntable in the split-screen during the second showcase showdown.

That ski boat in the second showcase must be one of the cheapest ones offered in recent years, as well as one of the smallest.

Yes.  Tracy, a very memorable contestant with a little story about remembering Bob with a fake moustache on Truth or Consequences from the April 27, 2005 episode.  I'd wondered if they'd want the money back after that :oldlol:!

Too bad the last gentleman called down only had the one shot to make it on stage.

I have a gut feeling that he would've been a very good contestant on stage.

Some people I was watching the show with this morning claim that Drew's explanations of games, as a whole, is awkward and not thorough. ...

Honestly, I'm not going to start criticizing him on explanations until next season. He's had one hell of alot to comprehend. We know all of the games but how many of us could explain them smoothly? It's not easy. And Balance Game is not played all that often. Give him time

Did anybody else notice strange talking in the background?  I first noticed it about halfway through the show.  It sounded like a woman talking, but was faint so it was hard to tell what she was talking about (sounded infomercial-ish).  I was watching WFRV-5, and both the digital and analog broadcasts had this.  Probably just an affiliate mess-up.

CoG: Can't believe this was lost. Audience should've known better.

Plinko: After two misses on the SP's, She still comes out with a strong $10,500.

Card: I would've choked on it, too. I would've stopped at around $19K.

SCSD #1: Drew and the SCSD winner walking into the camera gots to go.

Balance: $4299 was my guess as well.  :clipboard: must've enjoyed this.

PTB: $6K tops a Chevy Cobalt anytime.

BBB: Very nice win.

Showcases: Well, With an all-trip showcase and another  :frbs: Sea-Doo showcase spelled trouble and we got another DO out of it.

A 2.50-star show.
