Random thoughts - I haven't read much of what anyone else says, so if I say the same thing, I apologize.

I thought the $1,000,000 hanging in the back looked better this time than it did last time.

Switcheroo as the MDG:  I liked this, although I thought it was a tad too easy.  I would have only given 20 seconds to get the exacta, but that's just me.  I knew the soccer ball was $25 - the others, I would have guessed at.  I'm glad that Denise won $5,000 and her showcase.

Khamille, minus the attitude of "I told you so" was quite hilarious.  It seemed to me that she stopped the range before she wanted to, but it's a good thing she did.  Even I know where the Galapagos Islands are.  I hope she enjoys her trip!

Pathfinder - AWESOME!

That's Too Much - If I had gone to the $29,000, I would have stopped there.  Most likely though, if I was playing, I never would have made it that far.

Christopher's non-chalant reveal in Grand Game was pretty much like Drew would do.  To me, it seemed like he has been watching the show!

Bargain Bar - I originally said the clock, as I thought it was $2,000 under.  However, when the game was $2,000 under, I got very nervous, but I'm glad it was won.

All in all, a pretty good show.  I did have to tape it as I was watching the Flyers beat the Habs, but it was worth taping!

The odds of a Switcheroo exacta are 1 in 120.  Seems reasonable to me.  Doesn't seem too easy.  I think you've gotten too used to the ridiciously near-impossible setups like Plinko and Safe Crackers.

Result:  WTF?!  How did that first showcase get to $90,000?!  Were those helicopters worth $10,000 each or something?

I can answer that...
The Chapparal Sunesta 224 Xtreme has a BASE price of $66,436.  I'm sure there were some options on that boat that pushed its price well over $70,000.  The Samsung 63" Plasma TV has an MSRP of $5,999.   The Apple computer looked like one of the higher-end models, so it's safe to guess it could be about $3,000 or more.  Add a couple of Wii consoles and some helicopters and you got your $90,000 showcase.

So the boat ended up being 75k or even more? Yikes.

S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

With so many automobiles being given away, I wonder if the winners consider the high gas prices in claiming the car.  They're rapidly rising and $4 a gallon is unfortunately becoming a reality.

TTM goes back to the losing streak.  Now we can say that two consecutive wins are extremely rare.

Showcase Round: I loved the theme between the two showcases.  Polar opposites of High-Tech (with the New Nintendo console) and Low Tech prizes.  I was disappointed to see the High Tech turned out to be a :frbs:

Because God forbid we should go two whole playings without someone complaining about it, right?

Yeah, because paying an extra $8 every time you fill the tank is quite the dealbreaker on an otherwise 'free' ride.  Besides, it's not like they wouldn't pay that extra every time they fill up whatever they're already driving.

More hybrids should be given away!

I noticed something kinda neat last night while I was going over the show in widescreen...while James is jumping around after he wins his car, the Pathfinder board gets caught on-camera at an unusual angle, and you can see part of Add 'em Up's car backdrop sticking out from behind it.

Yeah, I saw that the "prongs" from Add 'em Up's pound sign backdrop are still there.  I always thought the price display was the only part of Add 'em Up that carried over to Pathfinder, but the whole prop fit the back of the latter's prop nicely.

That sounds interesting; does anyone have a screencap of that?

Yes...sorry about the blurry-ness of the pic, I just get my HD feed over-the-air, and it's not perfect.  I have circled what I think Steve is talking about....

They can be close at the top, too.

Actually, you've circled right above what I'm talking about...it's jutting out behind the R.
