Shell Game question

Can the host feel whether the ball in under the shell,by touching it?

It would stand to reason that a person moving the shells around would feel the ball impact the sides of the shell it is concealed under.  The shells don't look to have very thick... shells :-)

I doubt it.  The studio is so loud that I think a million pins could drop simultaneously and you still wouldn't hear anything.

 And the way Bob mixed the shells up...Johnny Hustler on the street corner would "forget" where the ball was...lol
