Golden Road:  I'm glad this is back, and I'll be even more glad when Drew does audience entrances.  I said 6 for the last prize, although I was tempted to say 1.   Too bad I didn't (and good thing I wasn't on the show or I would've lost it.)  Drew also mentioned that Pierre won sprinkles, but I didn't think contestants won the beginning (sub-$1) prize.  So, do they win it or not?  I also thought it was funny when Drew kept referring to them as "sprinklers".

Flip Flop:  Now that is one easy setup!

Grand Game:  I would've won the $10,000 because I knew the two items over $7.25 (as opposed to the four prizes above $7.25)

Range Game:  Not nearly as painful a loss as on the MDS but still painful.  My guess was approximately $8125.

SC1: My Bid: $33,170 / Diff: OVER
SC2: My Bid: $16,055 / Diff: $2,382

Nice show for the mid-week today.

You have got to be kidding me!!!  I was almost blue in the face shouting angrily at some segments while watching it on the CBS page a few moments ago!!!

So Drew didn't reveal the other items in Grand Game (to indicate what should have been picked). Unusual, except that there were several instances, I'm sure, where Bob failed to reveal the winning items after a Grand Game loss.

I seem to remember that the wart remover had been shown at least once before to be over $10, and thereefore would have been the other product to avoid.
All opinions expressed here are well-reasoned and insightful. Needless to say, they are not those of the Price is Right, or any organization for which I have worked for or will work for. Anyone who says otherwise is itching for a fight.

Golden Road:  Was so happy to see it come back!  And what a way to welcome it home with a $94,000+ motorhome under the rainbow today.  You have no idea how good that 7 looked in the price of the RV, but I would have never have guessed that 1 in a million years.  The one thing I want to know is.....when are the CABIN CRUISERS coming back???  Man, it's been like...forever it seems.

Showcases: $40,000 on the bedroom and trip to Italy???  Hmm.  Self-sabotage as a result of passing on the Sebring?  I wouldn't go that far; this seems more like a mix up between the audience's help, and how the contestant interpreted it.

Wart Remover (of doom?) = $13.99.  I only know it because it's screwed me in Check-Out too many times.  :D

Nice to see the budget back in order.  I thought we would see another one of the Big Three before Golden Road....guess I was wrong.
They can be close at the top, too.

Just because not all the games were won didn't make it a bad show or unejoyable one. Surely you had to have enjoyed Drew's banter about the candy sprinkles. Or the Range Game banter with big Dave. If you base how good a show is solely on wins and losses you'll surely be disappointed more often than not.

Wow.Passing on a convertible, and then bidding $40,000 on her showcase which she was over by more than $20,000. When was the last time somone passed on a convertible? Sounds like she didn't want to win anything, unless she was mislead by the audience.

IMO, Angela's overbid on her showcase was self-sabotage and sour grapes ... having passed up a showcase with a car (the Chrysler Sebring convertible) in hopes of obtaining an even more desirable car but getting only a room and a trip to Italy.

I've seen it happen before, where a contestant having common sense apparently could give a good bid for his/her showcase but, instead of refusing it later to avoid a tax burden, way overbids so he/she doesn't feel obligated to take unwanted prizes (such as a boat or trailer they have no desire to use or have practical use for because of their lifestyle; or a trip they have no time to take or to a destination they don't want to go). I recall the bidder from 2002 where the college-aged student passed on a trailer showcase, got a boat to bid on instead and with a scowl on his face, said $50,000 (and Bob DID ask for a clarification here); the contestant — he clearly wanted a car, and a luxury one at that, IMO — seemed to be thankful when he learned he overbid.

Face it ... Angela wanted a Cadillac. No way did she misinterpret the audience or hurriedly spit out a high bid out of nervousness (Drew didn't have to prompt her).

That all said, I still say Drew should ask showcase bidders to clairfy all teen-thousand bids ($13,000-$19,999) so as to avoid confusion when the situation calls for it (e.g., enunciation or loud audience).

Golden Road - Too bad he didn't win the motor home, but nice to see Golden Road on daytime again! :-)
Flip Flop - Nice job! :-)
Grand Game - Too bad!  :-(  I wish Drew would've revealed the prices of the other 3 items.
One Wrong Price - Good job! :-)  I would've been shocked if the snow cone cart would not have been the one wrong price!
Range Game - Too high by $12!  Ouch!
Cover Up - Too bad! :-(  I knew the fourth number wasn't 0, but I was stuck between 1 and 2.  I was leaning towards 1, however.
Showcases - $40,000 bid for showcase 2!?  HUH!? :-?  A definite  :gotc:!
Velvet Sky - 2 time Knockouts Champion, the hottest Knockout, and my favorite Knockout!!

GOLDEN ROAD: NUMBERS DON'T REPEAT! DRAW...?

IUFB #2: Main Theme remix = yay. The bidding...that felt rigged.

FLIP FLOP: Yeah, that was easy! WIN

GRAND GAME: LOSS-$100, but she said her mother was on '30 years ago and won a car'...1978, certainly, but it's not likely to be in the trading circuit...

How many 1978-1979 episodes did GSN air, anyway? Of course, it's possible that her mother won on the 70's Nighttime run...

Second half...
IUFB #4: Wearing a shirt that says 'Ask Me Anything' is like going up to Drew and saying 'make a joke'!

ONE WRONG PRICE: I also thought the snowcone machine was wrong...DOUBLE WIN

RANGE GAME: OUCH!

COVER UP: I thought it ended in double zero...not likely. LOSS

SHOWCASE #1: Nothing like a salute to Jimmy Durante...why don't they do salutes to 'Great Americans' anymore?

SHOWCASE #2: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?

THE FINAL COMMERCIAL BREAK: Why must they continue to show Liberty Medical commercials?

RESULTS: Um...duh. Lady loses, guy wins. Knew it during the final commercial break...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GRADE: Four losses (including a PAINFUL one in Range Game) and no really interesting contestants but two wins, good Drew, and TWO $1,000 wins on the Big Wheel... 5/10 (C-)

GOLDEN ROAD: NUMBERS DON'T REPEAT! DRAW...?

You can pick the same number twice and still win.  Numbers can repeat.  In fact, I remember at least one playing where the numbers did repeat.

GOLDEN ROAD: NUMBERS DON'T REPEAT! DRAW...?
This is 100%, absolutely, not true.  There is absolutely nothing preventing correct digits from repeating.  If all three are different, it's usually more attributable to chance than anything else.
