Roo:  Yay!  Switcheroo! :P I don't know how that car was lost today.  None of those SPs looked cheap enough to be $20-$29, so the 2 had to go with the car.

It was lost because it was Switcheroo.  Most contestants tend to pay little attention to what they're putting where.  Roger cannot force a win or a loss in Switcheroo.

Switcheroo: To go from 1 right to 0 right is painful enough. Not a good way to start off the show. Not a good way for me to start off either. Only woulda ended up with 2 right, and neither one woulda been the car. 0 for 1.

Step Up: Figured the Dinette set would be the least expensive of the four. Was a toss-up between the fireplace and the computer. And I forgot what the last prize was, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I said "bail" after the fireplace was revealed. 0 for 2.

Coming Or Going:  :headbang: The first number we all saw was a 5. Where does it normally go? In the end. Not the beginning. But the Peanut Gallery told her to put it at the beginning (the Going price). 1 for 3.

Any #: Oy vey!  :clipboard: strikes again! 1 for 4.

Grocery Game: As soon as Drew mentioned the place where Lanisha used to work, I immediately went into little-kid mode:

"OOOOOOOH!!! I'ma telllllllllllllll on youuuuuuuuu!!!"  :oldlol:

And in the same segment, I  at Drew's comment on trying to find out what exactly it was that Kimberley was selling to the drug stores... the "non-pharmaceutical" products. But anyway, that is the most painful loss I've ever seen in this game. And ironically, the same thing happened to me in BigJon's game last night! Did I jinx her? 1 for 5.

Pick A #: FINALLY!!! A winnah!!! I picked 2 as well, so yay me too! 2 for 6.

Showcases: Poor Robert had to endure not one, but two showcases aimed at women, in a sense. Hope he's married 'cause otherwise, he's gonna look really weird wearing women's bathrobes.

SC1 bid: $22,500 <--- difference of $5,644
SC2 bid: $15,500 <--- difference of $2,589
That's j-a-c-a-y-a. Just As Confused As You Are.

What a disappointing show today.  It will definitely help with the budget.   I think Drew HAS (and I mean HAS) to work on his delivery of the rules for Switcheroo AND Step Up.  Otherwise, we could have an S&P issue (again...).  Also, lately, he seems to me that he is not interested sometimes to be there, but other times, he is on the money and funny (like the "Congrats, you've won $3.21" line today).  Although I anticipate that he will get better over next season, he has a lot to do.

Off my soap box now,  I definitely think that we will see Triple Play and Three Strikes at least once more (probably Three Strikes) before the end of the season.  Hopefully we see Golden Road as well.

Today's lineup was great, even though it was a little tough for the contestants today.

Hey All,

I Cant blame the DOB for todays disaster.

Switcherroo is a hard game by default.

Any Number:  How many times in 36 years do you see contestants pick 1, 2, 3 or somewhere in that order as their 1st 3 number choices?

Grocery Game:  The contestant went over, that isnt the DOB's fault.

Coggy: Think for yourself. Trust You Own Instinct, Id rather sink on my own than listen to the audience.  The contestant didnt do that and as such, they lost.  That isnt the DOBS fault.

However:  Step Up had The DOB's finger prints all over it...rofl

Happy Wendsday,

Keith

I'm curious.  Why do you say "no comment" on some of the pricing games?  Why don't you simply not include the game in your discussion?

Dang, today was a total bummer.  Wipeouts in Switcheroo and Any Number, followed by a very painful loss in Grocery Game!  At least Carla saved the show from skunking by winning her sauna, and thankfully, Robert won his showcase.

*sigh*, another loss in Coming or Going.  This game has had really bad luck this season.  I hope we see at least one more winner before the end of the season.

I'd say the Bid of the Year go to Carla during One-Bid #6.  I wonder what $1114-1 looks like.

Dang, today was a total bummer.  Wipeouts in Switcheroo and Any Number...

A Wipeout in Switcheroo would be getting no prizes right in both turns.

It was lost because it was Switcheroo.  Most contestants tend to pay little attention to what they're putting where.  Roger cannot force a win or a loss in Switcheroo.
That's a good point.  I could do better than the average Switcheroo contestant while sitting in chat, completely oblivious to what the prizes are.

SC #1:  Sheesh, Bart, your camerawork on this showcase sucked.  Ugh... a new model of boat for this show.

What the heck was that? "There is no feminine look better than a beautiful woman in a swimsuit..." and there is a shot of the flowers??? I don't know why they didn't redo that segment for editing after the show... That was a lame beginner mistake....

Who's gonna realize that Bart is not a good director???

After I saw the first showcase, I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw that the first prize in showcase #2 were ladies bathrobes.  Robert had this look on his face like, "Do they know something about me I don't know."

LOL!!!  I had the same reaction that Robert did!

On the other comments, I agree that Step Up is hard to explain.  (I was sad when Hit Me was retired because of what the producers claimed was difficult explanations.)  Step Up is much harder than Hit Me.

This episode was a downer, but Drew's enthusiasm was good.

Switcheroo: 2 was my guess for the missing digit in the car. Too bad.

Step Up: That Video Projector had "least expensive" written all over it. Poor Brenda had a chance to bailout but she didn't.

CoG: $5868??!!! So not right.  :-o

Any #: DOBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grocery: $.03 OVER!!! SO MUCH PAIN!!!!

P-a-N: LET'S HEAR IT FOR CARLA!!!!!!!!!!!!  :-D :D

Showcases: Robert passes on a "feminine" showcase and has to stick woth one starting with Women's bathrobes. I bet he had such a day, did he?

A 2.50-star show.
