Who cares what else happened:  the whole sixth segment just made the show!  What with Rich's messing up the prize description for the refrigerator, and Drew's teasing about them going to edit it out, and Meshia herself was a heck of a lot of fun, too!

If I've said it once, I've said it twice:  after Lucky $even, One Away is the best car game to end the show with.  And great to see another "all five right at once" win.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Riley

I'd love to know how the heck Meshia lost the title today.

Piano v.s. Refrigerator bit: One of the funniest things I've seen in a long time on this show. And it even got Rich some screen time.

Agreed!!!  Takes me back to the time when according to Rich, we were bidding on a "A New Car!!!"  Than Bob goes,  "Ummm Rich, would you like a glass of water?  Or a glass of something?!!!  :P

One Away was a joy to watch!

That was Rod, not Rich.

(Lord, that was over 10 years ago.  I feel old.)

BBB: I don't know who led Drew into thinking BBB debuted in '75, but that person should be thrown. Well, i would've not won this one, either.

Roll: After a strong start, Lady Luck passed poor Riley up. $1K makes up for it just fine.

Balance: Very good win for a great contestant.

Secret: Man, Have we've been having a boat load of Wipeouts this week.

IUFB #5: The biggest blunder this season goes to the one and only Rich Fields. I love Rich even more for taking the flub with good spirits and to CBS for leaving it in for us to see. BLUNDER OF THE YEAR!!! Let's hear it for Rich!!! :oldlol:  :pint:

Squeeze: Good win. So what did she win?

One Away: Monica was such a BLAST!!! She and Drew's interaction with the sound effects lady was magnificent and so was the win.  :-D

Showcases: $29K was my bid with the Chrysler Sebring and $19,500 for the other.

A 3.75-star show.

Now that I'm back from the A-T-L, I can watch what I missed. :-)

Bar:  HISTORIC WRONG #87123418975123154215G!  BBB debuted in the same year I was born, 1980.  Sheesh, both of those trips were juiced!

Balance:  $6,650... easy, considering how many times we've seen that Sonoma spa.  The new union guy must have been operating the scales again.

Secret:  These Secret X wipeouts are starting to get monotonous.  And frustrating.  Especially the wipeouts where Roger makes both SPs easy and puts the X in the center.

IUFB #5:  Wow, another contestant with a Redd Foxx T-shirt. 8-O That's not a piano, Rich!  ROFLMAO!  But at least we got a great shot of Rich on camera.

Squeezy:  Yes, it's an upright piano! :-D

Away:  It's been a while since we've had an exacta in this game.  Great to see Monica pull it off.

SC #1:  WOOHOO!  First Bank of Price! :-D

My showcase bids:
Bank--$18,507
Car--$30,907
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
