I laughed at how the parting shot of Check Game was Drew and Morgan all behind the voided check.

I'm not sure if Nicole picked 42 on her free will or let the audience talk her into  it, but it made for a great Dobstopper and a nice way to end the first half of the show.

It is not often this happens, but the wheel stopped on the nickel on the third player's spin, leaving it in just the right spot for the bonus spin.

Make Your Move was sure tricky, with that very cheap daybed.  Well, it is from Ashley furniture and that brand's offerings on the show are cheap, so I'm not surprised. and a very expensive trip to Spain.  Speaking of which, possibly excluding the cars offered in the history of Make Your Move, today's trip to Spain must be one of the most expensive 4-digit prizes ever offered in that game.

Wow, for the first time since March 31, 1999, Safe Crackers was played fifth on the daytime show!  Roger certainly did not want that car won today, with a difference of $90 between the two "right" choices for the price of watches.  I am kind of surprised that Virginia stuck with $605 after the audience sounded like they were ready to throw things, since a price with 0 in the middle just doesn't look right.

That trip to South Africa must be one of the most expensive trips ever offered on the daytime show.  It also had one of the longest plugs for a trip I have ever heard, with the airline and two hotels included in it.  I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it came close to topping $15,000 or more.

If anything, I liked Safe Crackers today because it was not only played for a car, but it had the "Spelling Bee" car cue playing a lot longer than usual!  But regarding how it was played today...
So long!

The Money Game win was exciting, with the last two numbers brought to you by Coldplay (let's see who gets that one). :-)

You should have seen my face when the prices were revealed in Make Your Move. If that's not a CSTD, I don't know what is.

Check Game: I would put $2000 on the check there.

It's In The Bag: I don't know why contestants want to go on even though it's pretty obvious that they're to get that GP wrong by virtue of the audience's reaction.  Talk about getting bad advice there.  I would've quit at $1,000.

Money Game: 42 would be my second choice for the last 2 of the price of the car. 36 would be my first choice. Well Nicole needed plenty of luck to win the car and indeed she did.

SCSD #1: I wanted Daniel or Nicole to win.

Make Your Move: My guess would be $99 for the clock, $940 for the day bed, and $6245 for the trip to Barcelona. I would get it wrong too. Man that trip to Barcelona was expensive.

Safe Crackers: When you don't have a 0 as the last digit of the price you would definitely lose big time. Apparently Virginia wasn't aware of that and randomly guessed the price of the watches by not ending it with a 0. My guess would be $650.

Double Prices: $3498 would be my guess also.

Showcases: Tough break for Morgan there. Man that trip to South Africa really killed it for her. Well on the bright side at least she didn't over. I thought for a moment there that Zachary would be way off as well on his showcase. Turns out though he made a great bid. Definitely his day today.

Pretty good show to end the week.  Some fun moments and a terrific 2nd half lineup today (howbeit it included the usual requiste playing of Double Prices but that's neither here nor there).

Wow, Make Your Move and Safe Crackers 4th and 5th. You don't see that very often.

Speaking of Safe Crackers, wasn't it last year a contestant did the same thing as far as the price of the smaller prize was concerned not ending it with a zero and got mercilessly booed by the audience? I think Bob also gave the contestant the opportunity to change their mind before trying to open the safe. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

That's a very common setup, though. It's almost always between 450 and 540 or 760 and 670.

I just want to throw in a bit of frustration with CBS Innertube here...

When I went to watch today's show, the photo accompanying the link to watch was a picture of Drew and Morgan holding the voided check. I'm frustrated enough they ruin the game line up, but I can deal with it.

But when they ruin game outcomes, I start to get frustrated. This really made me mad!

Wow... I didn't even realize that when I was going to make screencaps. I guess that's no good if that's your method of watching the show. I do think it was a great still shot, though. If I was Morgan, I'd get an HD version of that shot and make it my desktop wallpaper. 8)

Hey All,

2 contestants from Chicago (my hometown) in the same show.  Nice!!!  However, when they played their pricing games, Im lost for words to describe the playings.

Nice DOB stopper in Money game. 8-)

The contestants had great energy today, even though most of the final outcomes werent favorable.   Drew was funny and on point today.  Although he "seemed to forget" about the Bonus Spin in Showcase Showdown #1. :-o

Off topic, something needs to be done about the noise level during price copy descriptions.   It is becoming a trend  for contestants not to be able to here what they are playing for, leading to more time being taken for Rich to re-read the copy.

Anyone notice that "Dianne" was so nervous when she came on down, that she violated "Rich Fields Audience Warm-Up Rule # 1":  Dont show your contestant # on television.   I see that the contestant number cards are now "yellow "...way cool.  It was either  purple or green on the days I attended tapings..lol

Have a great weekend .  Be Safe.  Make someone else happy.

Oh my gosh, a week without Plinko?? Is that even possible??  And to think, I was just getting used to Plinko Fridays. 8-)

Pretty unique that the wheel for Morgan's bonus spin landed back on 5 cents.  And it even looked like it was exactly in the middle!

If Safe Crackers was to be lost, it wasn't meant to be lost that way.  As soon as she put 0 for the 2nd dial, I knew she had lost.  And it was the only game for a car in the 2nd half!  Been quite a few shows this season where only 1 regular car game was played the whole day, and today was no exception.

Check Game: I apparently agreed with the Peanut Gallery booing Morgan when she put the check for $3200.  My amount was $2500, but I would have lost painfully.

It's In the Bag: Second contestant in a row gets the business from the Peanut Gallery and it's Daniel.  I was like "UH OH" when Daniel put the Gold Bond there.  I have to admit---the second bag was the trickiest of the bunch---it was either the Os Cal or the Bayer....I chose the OsCal for the second bag.

Money Game: My hunch was $16542.

Make Your Move: That was HARD!!!!  I had $9962 for the trip, $45 for the clock and $940 for the bed.  Ugh, the Ashley brand really screws things up.  I felt bad for Angelina losing this one.

IUFB 5: I really wanted Zenobia to bid $2....but she didn't.  DOH!!!

Safe Crackers: Make that three contestants who get the business from the Peanut Gallery.  I didn't like Virginia's price $605.  My pick was $650.  I would have lost too.
On a side note, not meaning to be bashful here, but I felt Virginia was just plain clueless.....with the way she played this game, she didn't deserve to win.

Double Prices: I thought alike like Zachary--$3498.

Showcases: I liked Zachary and Morgan's bids----but the price of the second showcase really had me going "WHOA!!!"  That African trip was juiced!  Tough break for Morgan.  Zachary really had a good day today.

That was one of the hardest Make Your Move setups ever!  I think that's the first time in Make Your Move history where, if I were given five chances to win, I still would've lost.  The trip was way more than I'd have guessed, and the daybed was way less.  Angelina really deserved to win more than she did:  seemed really nice, and just got so excited over the trip to Barcelona.

Same with screamy Nicole, except that she did do well.  Guess that's a lot different then, actually.  Kinda' surprised she went with 42.  Aside from being a low number, but it's such a wrong-looking low number.

It rotates every day...they have yellow, purple, green, blue, pink, and orange, if my memory can be trusted (which it almost always can't).

Check Game: 'd at the pose in the end. Unfortunately the check had VOID written all over it. And so would mine. 0 for 1.

It's In the Bag: I think everyone and their moms, at home and in the audience, booed his decision to put the Gold Bond in the second bag. I know I did.  :-D Unfortunately, I'd have only got three of them right 'cause I couldn't figure out what cost more between the Gold Bond and the Bayer. 0 for 2.

Money Game: I thought she lost, honestly. I'd have never figured 42 to be the last two numbers. I would've ended up with $251 (my picks... 17, 16 which was the front, 80, 60, and 98). 0 for 3.

Make Your Move: 9 G's for a trip to Barcelona!? Is this a First Class trip? I'd have never got that price to save my life. 0 for 4.

Safe Crackers: Hmm... 5-6-0 or 6-5-0... 6-5-0 seemed to be a little too obvious, so I went with the not-so-obvious choice. Now give me my car!!!  1 for 5... finally!

Double Prices: $3498 seemed like a good choice. And it was! So now I get a TV to go with the car and the watches! 2 for 6.

Showcases: I didn't get to watch them since I had to help my family move a camper, so unfortunately... this is where my predictions/comments ends.  :-(
