Well, I guess that explains why Dob won't be back next season. (Ducking!)

Well, Roger sure did go to town for what might well be the last Friday show ever.  The lineup was totally nuts...Any Number first, Grand Game before it was due, Barker's Marker$ before it was due, Bonus Game for a car, and Most Expensive on the same show as Barker's Marker$.  I don't even care that I completely bombed the final FPG -- the insane lineup made it worth it.  It needs to be said one last time -- you can't stop the Dob!

You know, it seems odd how much attention Roger's getting the last few days on the show...it's almost as though they knew he was going to be fired and wanted to give him as much acknowledgement as possible.  (No, I don't think that's what happened.)

The last Friday show ever?!

Explain, please.  Are you saying next season, you think (or know) the show will only be on Mon - Thur?

Grandy:  I fell out of my chair when Larry opted to bail out at $1,000.  I can't remember the last time somebody bailed out at $1,000.  But I have to admit that this setup was kinda hard.  I thought that box of Jelly Bellys would be more than $9.00... but after Larry picked that first, I thought he had a free run at the 10.

MYMark:  Technically, Drew was right the first time... if you count the $500 as a prize.  Yay!  They actually played for this game!  This should've been a no-brainer switch.  There is no way on God's green earth that luggage is worth $3,150.

Pushy:  Easy.  None of the other prices were even in the ballpark.  Great Lakes spas are not that expensive.

Bonus:  For a car again this season!  I cannot believe that Roger didn't put the "BONUS" behind the headphones.  There is no way that anybody would've thought those headphones would be more than $150, and the toughest prize is always supposed to have the "BONUS" when this game is played for a car.

ME:  On the same episode as Make Your Mark?!  Conflict city!  Only the LFATs were gonna win this game today, considering that we've seen that gas pump enough times to know that it's $2,595.

SC #2:  OMG, a MINI Cooper on daytime!

My showcase bids:
Aussie--$15,507
Car--$28,507
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I'm saying that next season, I don't think the show will be The Price Is Right.

So, in your opinion, what will it be?  I'm sorry to appear to be in the minority with this opinion, but the removal of one staff member does not necessarily mean the decline of the entire show.

In a very real sense, Roger represents much more than just "one staff member."

It does when it's Roger Dobkowitz.

I mean no disrespect to the rest of the staff...but Roger was in charge of pretty much everything that was vital to keeping the show running, and he and Bob were the driving forces behind keeping everything the same.  With them gone and with Syd Vinnedge taking charge, yes, it very much opens the door to drastic changes.

I really liked the bailout on Grand Game. You know what? If you aren't sure which one is correct, why risk the money? And as for Mark, when's the last time we saw anyone switch? It hadn't happened this season. Yes that was a very obvious one but as Brad Francini's site shows, people will often have obvious ones and still keep the $500

Because even a completely random 1 in 3 shot for 10 times the money ain't a bad deal for risking $1000.  I'm not saying it's wrong to quit with the $1000, but it's hardly surprising that few contestants take it, when the odds so overwhelmingly favor going on.

Any #: I would've won the car because 8 and 7 was not the numbers I went with. At least it wasn't the piggy bank this time.

Grand: Larry Bails Out!!!  :-o :-o I knew that Gold Bond cream would've been the one. I respect Larry's decision anyway.

Mark: Drew referring to them as the "Goodson-Todman Marks" is so respectful and wonderful. Good move by Daniel to switch them.

Push: $5175 looks just right. good job.

Bonus: A lot more fun when there's a car being played for and won, too. Nice.  :-)

Most: The Gas Pump replica was so obvious, but not to Karen.

Showcases: My bid would've been $25K for the Mini Cooper showcase. Nobody's perfect.

A 3.25 star show.

The final four is upon us.
