All I want to say is they fixed the ring around Magic # so it works now!

All I have to say is that Sheila almost blew one of the easiest Five Price Tags setups I've ever seen!

Never.  In fact, when I checked the pricing game line-ups I noticed that there were only 4 episodes in which Coming or Going & Double Prices were played on the same episode and in each time Coming or Going was in the first half and Double Prices was in the second half.

Roger clearly wanted Five Price Tags won today, there was only one choice that looked "right" and three of the SPs were False.  I thought it would be a heartbreaker if Sheila blew her last choice, but thankfully the audience did a heck of a job talking her out of it.

Well, we had another bailout in It's in the Bag.  I personally thought that the $8,000 and $16,000 bags were pretty hard, thankfully Jaron bailed out when he did, $8,000 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Finally, they got the Magic # ring fixed!

I will say that Magic # was set up for a loss, the show doesn't offer dinnerware more than $1,500 normally.  It's a shame the audience talked him out of setting the Magic # at $1,800-something.

Well, Roger wanted Coming or Going to be won today, there was no way that just one bed would fetch almost $8,000.  Now since there is no chance that Coming or Going will get played twice in one week, it ends Season 36 with its worst win/loss ratio of 9 wins to 18 losses.

Dorothy was a sweet lady and it was great to see her win that car in Cover Up.  Thankfully she listened to some who suggested putting the 3 in the fourth spot for the win.

Tarasita is probably the only contestant so far to get nervous saying "Alakazam!"  I wonder if it was just nerves on stage or something, but I have seen practically every other Double Prices contestant this season get into saying "Alakazam!"

I liked how Drew did the ARP reveal for the Showcase, he was to the point and had some enthusiasm in his voice when he was doing that.

Five Price Tags: $22,525 would be my pick as well.

It's In The Bag: The audience wasn't too happy when he picked the eye drops for $7.99. Luckily Jaron listened it them and bailed on $8,000.

Magic #: My guess would also be in the $1,500 range.

Coming Or Going: I said "Coming" too. No way that bed would cost over $7,000.

Cover Up: I had a feeling the 3 would be the fourth digit there.

Double Prices: $6698 was my pick also.

SCSD #2: I wanted Lizeth or Teresita to win.

Interesting way to announce a pregnancy. We see it all on this show, don't we?

What was up with all the Ashley today? I guess Roger wanted all of the cheap furniture out of the warehouse.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Andrew
SHOW GRADE: 3

Five Price Tags: I look away for one moment before the car was revealed and I was totally clueless as to what game will be played. I was kinda expecting ½ Off the way the camera was shown on Drew and Sheila. I even thought they were trying something different to distinguish between Safe Crackers and this game. After a quick review, I realized I would have been able to predict Five Price Tags if I would have saw the whole transition.
Anyways, I thought the wireless headphones and the key system would be a little higher, ergo I would've said False. I immediately thought the list organizer was way too high. I don't think I would've said true for any of them, either. At least I would have avoided picking $18,773. With only three choices of the Five Price tags, I would have tried the inner tags.

(It's) In the Bag: The way the camera was on the game most of the time, it was almost as if someone actually took off the "It's" from the title. At least it was still there. Anyways, I didn't concentrate too much because I was making a sandwich. However, I was aware of Jaron's pick of the eye drops in the end. I would've let it all ride on the IcyHot.

magic #: Ah, the rotation's back, I hear Rye Bred, and Andrew is playing with the geezmo "contraption"'s leever. What can go wrong? Andrew's loss.

Coming or Going: Almost $8000 for a queen size bed? I'm definitely Coming.

Cover Up: Shoot, I'll go crazy if a contestant gets the fourth number right for a win.

One Bid 6: That clock looks very rustic to me; I like it. What I didn't like was how Jeremy failed his last bid strategy. I hope the contestants do not make shout outs/announcements during their bids. That would drag it so badly.

Double Prices: I wonder if the pair of motorcycles correspond to the right price because it's an even number...

5PT: Easy. That van had to have been 20K+. I would've had it easily.
Baggy: Nice job bailing out. Last two were very tough.
Magic #: Tough. Both were more expensive than I thought. I thought the good # was more like 1300-1400.
CoG: Easy. No way that bed was almost 8K.
Cover Up: Surprised they played it again. Didn't we see it a few days ago? Setup wasn't hard.
DP: Another easy game. I've seen those bikes before, and that was about what it was.

Boat SC: I overpriced the ski boat. I've just never been very good on those.
Other SC: Had a good bid here. Figured it was in the high teens.

Great first half lineup, terrible second half lineup. But I guess there's a price to pay if you wanna have those first half games in there.
Retired Games that should be brought back:
Barker's Bargain Bar, Buy or Sell, Superball!, Super Saver, Split Decision, Give or Keep, Hurdles, Penny Ante, Walk of Fame

Taggy:  Yay!  5PT! :P Roger really wanted to give away a van today, didn't he?  I can't recall a car's price ever being that easy to pick.  There was no excuse for Sheila to pick those other two prices.

Baggy:  Not very often that we get Tags 'N Bags on the same episode.  Yay!  Temptation cue! :P That last bag was hard.  Either the IcyHot or the Visine could've been $7.99.  I'm glad Jaron walked with $8,000--win or lose.

Magic:  Yay!  They fixed the ring before the end of the season!  goldroadfanatic got his wish. :-D Ouch, that dinnerware was a lot more expensive that I thought it would be.

Cover:  $21,830 was a player-friendly price.  No repeated numbers.  No oddball last number.  The correct fourth digit was the second-highest number in that column.  Very atypical for Cover Up.

IUFB #6:  Last bid seemed like the right time to Catherine to announce that she's with child.  Congrats to her!

My showcase bids:
Boat--$22,807
Room/trip--$15,007

Still no shell game

Are you gonna continue to post that after every episode, mvp23_08?!  You thought you could fool me and everybody else this morning in chat, but you didn't.

And you can say all you want that Joker hasn't been retired, but you'll still be talking out of your arse.

Have fun in Iggyville!
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I noticed that Drew said that they had to increase Price's ratings. Did he know they are slipping?

It's in the Bag: Why does Drew continue to refer to this game as In the Bag?  Anyways, I said the eye drops were $3.99 and the IcyHpot PM was $7.99.

Magic #: My choice was $2075.  I just had this feeling that the magic # would be higher than what it normally is.

Cover Up: The lowest non-zero number isn't the 4th digit?  I would've guessed the 1 for the 4th digit but probably would have gotten the price right--not sure though.

IUFB #6:  Strange how Catherine just said she was pregnant, right after making her bid.

Double Prices: $6698 was my choice, since that would make one of them end in $--99, which just seemed right.

SC1: My Bid: $26,855 / Diff: $92 :dsw:
SC2: My Bid: $16,350 / Diff: $1,910

I noticed that Drew said that they had to increase Price's ratings. Did he know they are slipping?
I thought when he said that he meant they normally play exciting games first to increase ratings.  In other words, it had nothing to do with slipping ratings, just that the staff wants TPIR's ratings to rise.
