I liked how Drew tried to hide behind the door, making Rich laugh a little. Too bad I don't have it recorded thanks to you know what.

Make Your Move: I thought this would be one of those times where the middle 0 does not have to be the last number for a prize. I actually would've done something like Ryan's setup. The correct setup makes more sense now. Maybe the zeroes can give you a hint all the time.

Stack the Deck: What a blunder in the end. I think I would still lose because I think I would've said 4 for the last number instead of the evil 9.

One Bid 3: I miss a funny one bidder due to local post-preemption commercials. Phooey.

Freeze Frame: 3014 for a hot tub? No! Actually, I didn't know where to stop it. Maybe after a revoultion or two and I can come up with a pick.

Cliff Hangers: C'est la vie. I said 50 for the disc repair system.

Race Game: Oh, I was a little irked whenever Jana glanced at the peanut gallery. That mix-up did confuse me. Methought they might do a Technie afterwards. They did.

One Bid 6: Even though I did not see the whole show the first time, I had this feeling Jose was one of the First Four.

Range Game: Ah, that Rangefinder is so meditating to me. I can just listen to it for minutes at a time, such as rewinding my disc a few times just to listen to it. I like the assistance of that Gallery member.

Did I see that right? Contestant asked for the first 3 #s for free on Stack? Oi vey. Also. That's the second time this season the Race Game display has gone ka ka. Not a good sign.

What an awesome lineup today!  I love it when the game order would have made more sense in the other direction. :)  Roger, if you're still looking at this, thank you for making it feel like a Friday.

Stack the Deck was played horribly -- which is pretty bad, considering this is about the easiest setup it's ever had.  The only remotely hard set of groceries was the Aspercreme and the Clorox, and if you got all three right and asked for the last three numbers, winning the car was a cinch.  At least the staff didn't let Breelyn undo her request for the first number -- it sucked, but it was definitley the right call.

That's the second time this season the Race Game display has gone ka ka. Not a good sign.

Believe me -- come this Sunday, Race Game is gonna be the least of our worries.

Just watched the show on Innertube. Solid lineup.

MYM: I was thinking the 9K+ price, but then again, I didn't even notice the price it actually was on the end there.
Stacky: Very surprised to see it again. I had it solidly, but it was a poor playing on stage. Pick 2,3, and 4.
FF: I was pretty lost on this game, since I thought it was more in the 5K-6K vicinity.
Cliffy: That lamp would have killed me.
Racey: Tech win, but I agree with it. Computer was more expensive than I thought.
Range: That range sounded all right. The ARP probably would have been at the very bottom of my range, perhaps just below it.

SC1: I had a solid bid here. Had a good idea, seeing those prizes many times over.
SC2: All I can say is Doboids.
Retired Games that should be brought back:
Barker's Bargain Bar, Buy or Sell, Superball!, Super Saver, Split Decision, Give or Keep, Hurdles, Penny Ante, Walk of Fame

I was surprised to see Stack the Deck show up again, I thought we would see a playing of Let 'em Roll or Hole in One instead.

I guess it was nerves that got the better of Breelyn today in Stack the Deck.  I was surprised she managed to get all three number choices since the first and third prices were just tossups.  She really hurt her chances of winning the game when she asked for the first and second numbers revealed to her.  If only she said she wanted to have a different number revealed to her than the first one, maybe she could have had a better chance at winning.

It seems like forever since we heard "Don't Fret" played on the show, and I was glad to hear it again, that's one of my favorite cues from the 2007 package.

It was nice to see Drew do a dance in Cliff Hangers, we haven't seen him do that since the shows that aired in the fall of 2007.

Ashley was pretty interesting to watch.  I laughed when she said the prices of the disco ball lamp and the batter dispenser were outrageous.   She doubted herself when guessing on the DVD repair kit in Cliff Hangers and was ready to accept a loss and in the Showcase, I laughed when she kept telling the audience to be quiet while she thinks of a bid, only to accept the one yelled out to her at the last second.

Wow, Race Game was played fifth for the second time this season!  The last time Race Game was played two times in a season was back in Season 30!

As soon as Drew said that the jukebox changed the number of prizes Jana had correct to a two, I kind of figured a technical win would result since Jana would probably have not heard Drew's correction.

Wow, a car offered in each of the Showcases today!

That Tahiti cruise must be on steroids or something for the Showcase to fetch over $47,000.

Freeze Frame - $3,014 for a hot tub?  ???  I wonder where Fatira buys her hot tubs at.
Cliff Hangers - That was a close one! 8-O  I thought for sure Hans was going over after that last prize!
Race Game - After that technical glitch, I'm glad they gave Jana all four prizes. :-)  BTW, as Jana was Heading over to make some changes after pulling the handle down after her second try, I noticed the display changed from 1 to 2 just before it went off camera.
Range Game (for a car!!) - Good Job! :-)
Showcases -
Wow oh wow - that cruise had to be 18-19k!! I didn't see Stacky either, but now I don't want to... :X

Yes, the cruise probably was up there, but those Ford Escape Hybrids aren't exactly cheap, either!

Pretty good show overall, between what I saw and what I read here.

One Bid 1: Fatira---$300 on the gym?!!!

Make Your Move: That was hard.  I had something else than Ryan's guesses....$650 for the Broyhill, $75 for the retrostyle boom box, and $9670 for the sailer.  Well, to put a long story short, both Ryan and I blew that one.

Stack the Deck: When Breelyn chose the first number as the freebee, I was like "NOOOOOOO!"    I didn't like her last two picks.  In my case, I would have done much worse---I had $18,724.

Freeze Frame: Ugh, $3000 for the Beachcomber Fatira?  I don't think so.....I lost this one too---I said $8130.

Cliffhangers: Ashley's reaction to the prices of the first 2 SPs were priceless in my honest opinion.  I actually thought Ashley would have lost on the third SP.  Nope, Hans survives!

Race Game: I also noticed the technical glitch too, and I felt it was fair to give the technical win to Jana.  Although I was not happy at the fact that Jana polled the audience during this game.....DON'T DO IT!!!!
On a side note: Uh oh, Jana was wearing flip flops!  She had to take them off.  I think this is the third playing in a row somebody wore flip flops and they had to play this game.  I wonder what Joe would be saying about this....

Range Game: I'm glad Beri won the truck.

Showcase Showdown: I was very disappointed with Ashley's 2 puny first spins.

Showcases: My bids were $30,000/$24,000.  I had a bad feeling about  Ashley's showcase bid---although I did find it hilarious that she tried to shush the audience.  Yep she went over.
Result of the Cruise showcase: WHAT?!!!!!  $47,000?!!!!!  Roger, you juiced that cruise didn't you?!
I'm glad Ryan won to make up for his loss in Make Your Move.

Obviously Breelyn should've known the first digit in Stack the Deck.

If only Drew Carey asked a question to the audience "How many people would've known the first number in the price of the car?  Obviously, we don't know where Breelyn shops for his cars."

Fatira should've known that huge spas don't come that cheap.

Now we know why Roger is no longer with the show, he can't pay attention to the Race Game machine to reveal how many were right and wrong and had the 1 change to 2 just when changes were made.  :P

I had a feeling that the second showcase would be in the $40,000 range since it had a cruise and a Hybrid.  Note that a Hybrid model is more expensive.

I loved the "new waterfall" in the race game.

And that poor girl who played Stack the Deck was just clueless.

President Bush has been "pressing his luck" with TPIR during his nearly 8-year tenure, but at least he was nice enough to let us view about 3/4 of the show yesterday.  Had Bush pre-empted the episode in its entirety, well lucky for me I can resort to "Plan B" - change the channel to GSN and watch classic Press Your Luck.

I didn't get to view yesterday's episode as yet (due to reality commitments), but I will see it (along with today's airing) when I arrive home from work.  Then I will see what feedback I can give on the episode I didn't catch on my VHS tape yesterday.  But I will tell you that I didn't miss a thing when Stack The Deck was played.  It's such a dull game and should be retired.  I'm just glad they didn't play Spelling Bee or 3 Strikes during the Bush cut-off.

And I join the bandwagon with Footix and Fieldsy, as 3 of us are Canadian.  However, I may be one of the elite group of users who are in the Newfoundland Time zone.  Yes, I'm from Newfoundland.  In fact, the Newfoundland Time is to the East of the Eastern Time zone (Atlantic Time is between ET and NT).  There may be a small group of users who are from the Atlantic Time zone, but even smaller from the Newfoundland zone.

Yeah, I have this uneasy feeling starting to build in the pit of my stomach knowing that taping for the new season starts Sunday.

President Bush has been "pressing his luck" with TPIR

The press conference wouldn't have gone so long if the press hadn't dragged on with asking questions some of which they probably knew the President wouldn't comment on.

Saw the first two segments on Innertube:

MYM: $6706....So not right.

STD: Breelyn probably knew her mistake after it was done. While her playing was kinda uncomfortable to bear, Maybe this one wasn't meant to be won, anyway.  :-P

The rest I watched on tape:

Freeze: $3014....Are we haing a day or what?

Cliff: Ashley sure had the spirits of taking a loss in stride. But hse didn't lose and she should've been more happier.  :-P

Race: The producers made the right call to give Jana the whole thing after the little snafu with the jukebox on her 2nd attempt.

Range: Great win.

Showcases: I would've bidded around $38K on the Ford Escape showcase and around $22K on the Dodge Caliber showcase.

A 2.75-star show.
