Not mentioned anywhere in the statistics is that we had not one but TWO Blitzes this season.  I got my second career Blitz during the Christmas shows and PriceFan14 got one in January.

It is a little unusual that this season, we had a ton of exactas and only one QSW.  Last season, there were a ton of QSWs and only three exactas.  Season 34 had no QSWs and a lone exacta by namnhu on the infamous $16,000 showcase from December 2005.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

A few statistics from the season:

First of all, highest and lowest:

Most expensive showcase: $63,305 (April 1 - Corvette)
Least expensive showcase: $13,282 (December 10)

Statistics on daily play:

Perfect Days: 10
Wipeouts: 0!
Blitzes: 2 (Fireball on December 18, PriceFan14 on March 6)
*Reverse Blitzes: 11 (including 1 "Host Blew It" on May 7)
Most seperate DSWs *that count* in one day: 5 (May 23, June 11)

Best and worst differences on a single showcase:

Smallest difference: $0 (Lots of these: PriceFan985 (twice), BRB_TheFireball, jordanar18, Voltron291, Enzo Aquarius (twice), GoldenBulldog, goldroadfanatic)
Best non-winning difference: $3 (PriceFan985 on June 11, Enzo Aquarius won with an exacta)

Biggest Garf (without overbid on other showcase): $38,729 (WhammyPower788 on October 16)

Most points earned:

796.74 (PriceFan985, QSW on Friday, April 25)
564.69 (BuddyTom, DSW on Triple Values May 21)
525.88 (Frank15, DSW on same day)

The only way to get obscene amounts of points this year was to earn them. Oddly, nobody pulled the "get the Plinko doubler and DSW on a Friday" trick, otherwise there would be more at the top like PriceFan985.

Number of "Splendido" showcases: 11
Number of playings before heelsrule1988 "heels'd": 6
Number of playings before BRB_TheFireball DSWd: 12
Number of playings before PriceFan985 won: 62! <-- this goes to show it's not wins or DSWs that make the biggest contribution, it's scoring consistently.

And now from the series of ten MDSs:

Best bid: tpiradam with a $5 difference on a Cadillac showcase worth $84,355!
Biggest Garf: SteveGavazzi with a $59,220 difference on a big-@$$ boat (Stage Player actually did worse, but... whoa)
Most expensive showcase: $106,670 for a different big boat!
Overall winner of the MDS series: BuddyTom (no, I'm not going to let you forget that).

* Reverse Blitz is defined as only one person going over. When the host does it, everyone else gets double points.

Woooo...that's the MDS showcase that I cashed!  Taking a $10,000 gamble helped there, too....
They can be close at the top, too.

My goal before the end of the season was to be above the line, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I still needed at least 8 or 9 more games to be above it. I feel pretty good about how I did this season, considering it was my first. Got about 3 DSW's, won around 2 or 3 times and had the most points below the line!

Wow, when I first started I thought I would do horribly and not even get a DSW...let alone 3 exactas. From last place to 12th, 7th in monies, and 3 exactas, I'm pretty glad in how the season turned out.

Thanks for the note Sideshow, I do love my IUFBs.  :-D

Amazing season everybody, I loved it. Sideshow and especially BuddyTom, great job keeping track of everything and putting it all in order! Cheers!  :pint:

For my first complete season, I didn't do half bad! I did beat Bully! :D Also got a few wins and a few DSW, so I'm very happy! I just wish I could learn how to price a FRBS ...

Games played:  151
Wins: 3 (YEAH BABY...HEHEHE...  :-D)
Times crashed (gone OVER):  68
Overage Percentage:  45% (Yee...ow...)
DSW's:  3
WSD's:  About 6 or 7
Money Won:  $475,384 (TOP TEN BABY!!  :-D)
Number of Playings it took before my first OVER:  2  :-(
Ranking:  CSS ARTIST  (hahaha...  :P  :-D)

I'm curious! Do you also  keep track of the number of times you predict a QSW and fail? :hammer: :hammer:

Once again, a big thanks to Sideshow for keeping these stats.

Coming in second in points average behind IPM was really nice.

I sure hope that we can continue the game in some form next year.
