Was the fired man sleepwalking?
I'd like to extend his answer into one of my own.  He was a night watchman and he was sleeping on the job rather than doing the job he was suppose to do.

Simply using it as a source.  (Note that I did give you credit.)  You said he was sleepwalking; I just stuck with being asleep and no sleepwalking.

BRB, is another answer radiation-related?  As in a hole in a rad suit?

I'd like to extend his answer into one of my own.  He was a night watchman and he was sleeping on the job rather than doing the job he was suppose to do.

Correctomundo!

The sacked employee was the warehouse night watchman. He should have been awake all night on his security duties. Having a dream proved that he was asleep on the job. For this, he was fired.

Deadline: Saturday, August 2.

Clues: 5

A pet shop was advertising puppies for sale. Two men entered the shop. The first put ten dollars on the counter and asked for a puppy. The assistant asked whether he would prefer a poodle, a Labrador, or an Alsatian. He chose the poodle. The second man also put ten dollars on the counter and asked for a puppy. THe assistant did not utter a word. He simply gave the man an Alsatian puppy. How did he know that was what the man wanted?

The man pointed to the Alsatian puppy that the other person had or one that was on display.

He was a deaf and used sign language to indicate which dog he wanted.

The Alsatian was the only puppy left. All the other dogs were fully grown.

A man died because there was a hole in his suit, but there was no blood near the hole.  How is this possible?

(There are at least four correct answers to this riddle.  See if you guys can get them all.)

2.  He's wearing a JIM suit, and hole caused him to drown.

BRB, is another answer radiation-related?  As in a hole in a rad suit?

2.  He's wearing a JIM suit, and hole caused him to drown.

Both of you are correct.

So that's space suit (suffocation and/or explosive decompression), hazmat suit (radiation), and diving suit (drowning).  There is at least one more correct answer.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

The man pointed to the Alsatian puppy that the other person had or one that was on display.

No, but slightly on the right track.

He was a deaf and used sign language to indicate which dog he wanted.

Definitely not.

The Alsatian was the only puppy left. All the other dogs were fully grown.

Good guess, but no.

TPIR1990:  The only other puppy worth $10 was the Alsatian puppy.  The Labarador cost $20?

I could take this answer, but I can't. Very close though, need a little more.
