Well, let's see.  You and jhc both played car games.  Or games with cars for prizes, perhaps I should say.  You both won absolutely nothing in your games.  Your item up for bids was a bit more expensive so... yeah.  You got lucky!

jhc, this is your showcase, and we need a bid!

ding!

jhc has bid $14,595.  And now, Alfie, this is your showcase.

Rich:  Your showcase begins with a beautiful dining room.  The Ashley Santa Barbara dining group will make for a great dining experince, with a table, and even chairs to sit on.  And this Fiesta dinnerware will be a great dish for serving your food on.

And because a lot of people make pies in kitchens, and some people keep them in safes, it's a sturdy safe.  From Sentry, this fire-safe S8771 commercial safe measures 47.625 inches high by 25.5 inches wide by 23.5 inches deep, includes adjustable shelf, built-in wheels for mobility, and interior locking drawer.  Has an electronic lock and tubular key.

And after you're finsihed with dinner, it'll be a great time to break in your new toilet.  The Toto Neorest 600 toilet is a sleek, tankless, one-piece toilet with integrated Washlet seat, with the new Cyclone Flushing system, so there's no waiting for the bowl to refill, front and rear warm water washing, automatic air dryer, and deodorizer, and the lid automatically opens, closes, and the bowl flushes itself via sensor.  And this showcase can be yours if the price is right!

Alfie, give us your bid!

All right, and now to see who has bid better.  Alfie, you bid $20,000 on your showcase, and Alfie, the actual retail price of your showcase is...

$11,037, you're way over!

BONK!

I do believe that's a record for going over, is it not Roger?  Oh wait, you're not really going to respond to a silly message board Host Your Own show, anyway.

Onto jhc; you win so long as you have not gone over.  You bid $14,595 on your showcase.  And jhc, the actual retail price of your showcase IS!

$14 thousand...

...this can go either way here, folks!  $14 thousand something.

I can't quite make out the last three numbers... it's smudged.

...OK, so I'm a terrible liar.  It's $14 thousand...

EIGHT fifteen!  For a difference of!

$220!  You win both showcases!

WHOOP WHOOP WHOOOOP!!!  WHOOP WHOOP WHOOOOP!!!

jhc, you have won $27,247 in prizes today, including... um, I have no idea.  Says bedroom and dining room on the showcase cardboard pieces, so I guess you've won those.  And other forgettable stuff.  Frank reminding you to help control the technical win population:  think twice before doing Shopping Spree.  Goodnight everybody!

jhc2010:  $27,247
BuddyTom:  $10,713
BRB_TheFireball:  $8732
Jordan7:  $3606
Pathfinder2119:  $2500
Alfonzo:  $1796

*For those wondering, Alfie was the only one to correctly answer the question at the start of the thread.

*Of the past 12 episodes, the total won for this show is actually the ninth lowest, despite the double showcase win.  Go figure.

*And again, Britey, I'm very happy to see that Check-Out was winnable!

Gee, I'm glad I did something right! This makes a whopping 0-3 in your showcases, right Frankie?

Glad I could help!  Frankly, that was somewhat miraculous.  Those were my approximate guesses, and as it turns out, I had the olive oil & the Dulcolax switched in price.  I don't know if I would have had the guts go that high if I had been playing.  When I saw the $59.35 total, my jaw absolutely dropped!  Definitely a highlight of my PA career, even if I wasn't actually on stage for it  :-D :-D :-D.
