I don't know if I have enough posts to be a contestant yet, but if so, I'll play.

"Wpghi5, come on down!

Punchboard91, come on down!

Cu2010, come on down!

And... Stormy41992, come on down!

You are the first four contestants on the second episode of Chinook's Price Is Right!

And now, here's the star of the show - he who chews through ears of corn at startling speed - Chinook!"

(Enters from Door #2 to startling applause)

Thank you!  And thank you as well, Rich.  Who put that line into your script?  I thought I specifically asked to never talk about my eating habits!

Anyway, welcome to the show, and good luck.  We've got a good one for you today, and I guarantee that the producers have eased back a little bit on the difficulty level.

Rich, what's our first item up for bids today?

"It's a new computer!"

(Applause)

"This twelve inch HP Pavilion Labtop comes with only the best in recent technology, including Bluetooth, a DVD Writer and Wi-Fi!"

Thanks again, Rich.  And that computer will go to the one of you four who bids closest to the actual price without going over.  First bid on our second show goes to Stormy!  What'ya say?

Bidding Order:

Due to the site being down for most of the day, Cu's deadline is extended.

$600.
"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

And the actual retail price of that computer is... $1625.  Wpghi is the first winner of our second show!

We're starting off at the turntable today.  You see, in my first show I mistakenly neglected to play a grocery product game, so I had to start off with one this time around.  If you win the game we've got for you today, you can win... this.

Rich: "It's an exciting trip to Rome!"

(Applause)

"You and a guest will fly round-trip coach from Los Angeles to Rome, Italy, for a six night stay at the Hotel Colonna Palace.  Enjoy the buildings of ancient Rome!  It's a terrific prize worth... $6,187!"

To win that trip, Wpghi, you'll need to win the Now or Then.

Now is now.  Then is July of 1998.  You need to get three adjacent items to win.

Rich, would you kindly describe these items?

Rich: "Happily, Chinook."

"First, appropriately for a trip to Rome, we have a 25 ounce jar of Victoria Marinara Sauce.  Victoria is made with 100% italian tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic and onion.

Second, we have a 34 fluid ounce bottle of Ajax Dish Liquid.  This particular bottle is lemon-scented.

Third, we have a 15 ounce can of Campbell's Spaghetti O's!  Every kid's favorite blend of pasta in tomato and cheese sauce.

Fourth, we have a 19 ounce can of Lysol Disinfectant Spray.  Country scent, of course.

Fifth, we offer a 90 count of Natrol Cranberry Extract, a dietary supplement.  Use as directed.

And finally, we have a 50 count jar of One-A-Day Multivitamin Supplement.  Use as directed.

Ok, Chinook!"

Alrighty Wpghi.  Make your first selection.  Also, keep in mind that I will force you to take the quickest remaining route to victory.
