The first $3000+ IUfB
« on: August 07, 2006, 08:45:02 PM »
Does anybody happen to know what was the first IUfB shown on a REGULAR PiR episode (No Primetime or MDS) worth $3,000 or more and when did that show originally air? I think it was a trip of some kind, but I could be wrong.

The first one I know of is a trip to Puerto Vallarta that was the fourth IUFB on the Season 30 premiere.  Now, that doesn't mean there weren't some earlier that I don't know about, but Scorpz's site says there weren't any during Season 29, so take that to mean what you will.

That DOES sound right. I was going to mention in my original post that I thought it might be a trip, but I wasn't sure. Thanks!

Well, if you want to get technical, the 5000th show in Season 26 wasn't an MDS or prime time show, and I know that had $3000+ items up for bids .

Show 5000 should've been retrocapped by now, shouldn't it?

EDIT: Trip to Hawaii, $3409.  It was followed closely with a $3,249 offroad bike and a $3500 pinball machine wasn't too far off.

Ah yes, the recap where I screamed "EIGHT CAR DAY!"
