If I recall correctly, Avon is either the fourth or fifth person to win Pathfinder without making any mistakes.

That's highly unlikely.  While I can think of four specific playings before Avonne's playing, it's very unlikely that there weren't more perfect wins before then.

Well, Frank, I was watching a youtube.com movie of another Pathfinder winner, and Bob consulted Roger on this, Roger said this girl, Martina, who was playing was the fourth perfect  contestant of "Pathfinder"

The thing is, often it is said that someone was the first to do something, when, in fact, it isn't true! I'm suspecting it's because they don't have the info on hand, and just want to hype up that particular event ...

...okay, first of all, what idiot recorded this with a freaking camcorder?  Don't these people own a VCR?!

And secondly, and more importantly, Bob also said the game was played perfectly in a year during which it didn't even exist yet.  If that doesn't prove that he makes up the records, I don't know what does.

(And he said that she was the third person to play it perfectly -- not that it matters, since it was wrong, anyway.)

Why am I starting to feel like we're all on Wikipedia here?

Because Steve's had a constant revert war on the Pathfinder entry about the game being played perfectly only three times in the game's history.
Roger Dobkowitz's Seven Commandments of The Price Is Right:
1. Tape and edit the show as if it were live.
2. Never tell the contestant what to do.
3. Size matters. (The bigger the prize, the better the prize and the bigger the reaction.)
4. All prizes are good.
5. Never do anything on the show that would embarrass a parent with a kid watching.
6. Never put on a prize that would make the show look cheap.
7. It’s the game, stupid! (It’s about the game.)

I think that was a rhetorical question.

Either way, it was very funny indeed.  I was there, it went clear into the commercial break.

Yeah, I guess...but it was a question that didn't involve shouting no for an answer, which so many onces recently have had.
