Make Your Move-  Ouch! The moment that George put the coffee machine at $160 dollars there was no question he had lost.

Let Em Roll- Ginger probably made a good decision with one roll left. But I probably would have gone on.

Flip Flop- I had thought that Christine had lost. I was wrong.

Cliff Hanger- That was Well played. Lucy was a lot of fun to watch.

Card Game-  The moment that Mary stopped I had a feeling she had lost. She should drawn 3 to 6 more cards before stopping

One Wrong Price- Tough choice but I also would have gone went the guitars.

Make Your Move: Pathetic guess for the dinette, and I had the prices right. I did find it funny for what Bob did afterwards, like "Give him the gong!"

Let' Em Roll: The player listened to my advice to take the money after Roll 2. After all, it was only a $13,000+ car...

Flip Flop: The correct price wasn't my first choice (I would have flopped), but with recent spas ending in 95 recently, it was possible that $3,495 was right, and it was.

SSD1: Two $1,000 winners. Nice!

One Wrong Price: Tough. I thought the middle prize was too cheap.

Card Game: Not so lucky with a $21K+ automobile in this game this time out. The only thing I was hoping for was a new record for the biggest whiff in this game, and that's what happened.

Cliff Hangers: Great contestant. Her demands for the mountain climber to stop were priceless!

SSD1: And another $1,000 winner!

All 6 IUFBs: Wow. I found it weird that the staff, mainly Rich and Bob, would laugh at the ironic prize packages up for bids, and how they tied in together. Obviously, that was pretty funny. It's a shame Rod's still not around today- I'm sure he would have had a ball reading all of those.

Showcases: Both fairly nice today. The second showcase bid was obviously too high.

Overall: Very bizarre and interesting show today.

The problem with Card Game these days is simple the contestants always stop too early. Such as the case for Carolyn.

I admit I was fooled by the Chevrolet Malibu Maxx's price on today's show, since I had seen a Malibu on a recent show albeit, a LS 4-dr. sedan (the base model without options) that was much cheaper (about $17,000 compared to the $21,000 car on today's show). I would have stopped at $18,000, so it definitely shows what I knew given the $2,000 margin card that was drawn.

As for George, that was stupid. He should KNOW that dinette sets on TPiR don't sell for $160 these days. Matter of fact, you can't even get one that inexpensive at Wal-Mart or a discount furniture store. The cheapest new dinette sets I've seen off TPiR is $200, and I am sure he'd been at least shopping for a dinette before at a furniture store. He should have known that it was more than $160.

Oh well, I guess not everyone's adept to what things cost these days. Guess that's what makes the show fun.

But, it was only the third through fifth One-Bid items, not all six. We got lucky on the second.

Pretty good show today, not as good as yesterday, but not bad. Anyways....

Make Your Move: Ugh, as soon as George went "el cheapo" on the dinnerware I knew he was a goner.

Let 'Em Roll: That's a pretty good chunk of change ($2500). That would be enough for me to walk away.

Flip Flop: Wow, after flipping, after flopping, and after flip flopping she changes her mind and decides to flip and it paid off. Interesting how Bob brought up how the crowd wasn't reacting to Christine's moves.

Cliff Hangers: Yay Cliffy!! Always good to see. Lucy was a hoot, I just loved her talking to Hans, played the game well too.

Card Game: Ugh, one of these days someone will draw the $5000 card and lose.

One Wrong Price: Why was I expecting One Right Price? Anyways I thought the TV was the wrong price. I personally believed this was a crapshoot today. Good job Mary.

SCSD's. "Get it hot, get it hot, come on baby, get it hot." That big wheel was sure hot today-3 1k winners today, not too shabby.

Good show today, my favorite contestants were Ginger and Lucy-tough for me to decide who was the best. Aw, they both were. Ginger was just so humble and thrilled to win anything and Lucy's antics with Bob and Hans stood out to me.

I really enjoyed today's show.  Most of the contestants were very enjoyable, even if a couple of them didn't play their games well.

It's nice to see Bob has some sense about prices, anyway, knowing full well that George had definitely underpriced the dinette, just asking the sound guy to gong him.  I'm not sure George entirely understood how to play the game, though, as he kept putting the sliders in places they couldn't legally go.  He was a nice guy, anyway, even if he didn't understand the game!

Always nice to see contestants going with their own gut and ignoring the audience, like Christine did today.  $3495 was the only price that met with dead silence when Bob was presenting the possibilities, and it turned out to be the one Christine picked.  Considering it looked to be the most likely price by far, it's especially good for her!

And was I the only one who thought Flip Flop was incredibly easy today?  I'm surprised to see people here saying that it was hard today.  I don't think 59 has ever been right for the last two numbers in Flip Flop history--95 looks a lot friendlier, anyway, even for Joe Plinko, who probably still sees a lot of products on TV ending in 95.  And only one of the three choices ended in 95.  Christine was fun, too... gotta' love when a contestant makes a weird shrill noise when she wins!

I can't really blame Ginger for bailing out of Let 'em Roll with the $2500.  She was probably going to get less in her next roll, and probably not going to win the cheap car, anyway.  She had some really enjoyable facial expressions the whole time, too!

I wonder if Lucy was really worried that she might have lost Cliff Hangers on the last prize.  She seemed as if she were in grave pain watching Hans climb up the mountain for that last prize.  Speaking of Lucy, fun conversation about her hometown in contestants' row with Bob!

Speaking of contestants' row, I really enjoyed how much fun Rich and Bob were having with the "supply of" items today !

I wish Carolyn would have drawn the $5000 in Card Game, just because I'm like that.  But today proved that a contestant could still lose even with the $5000 card!  Is $6330 the biggest difference in Card Game history?

Speaking of Card Game, I was surprised it was only the $2000 card Carolyn drew from Bob's reaction, who made it sound like she did have the $5000.  Maybe Bob's still thinking back to when $2000 was the biggest card in the deck, 'cause it's really no big deal anymore.

I think Mary had one of the loudest claps in the show's history.  I guess she's been practicing!

Was I the only one who thought One Wrong Price was fairly easy today?  Aside from looking too expensive, the guitars ended in an odd-numbered price, which is usually a dead giveaway for a pair of items.

Apparently I have no idea how cheap Dodge Chargers are.  I overbid on that showcase by more than $10,000.  I probably overpriced the computer as well.

I disagree.  Yesterday had Tammy and Shell Game, both great I'd agree, but I thought today's show was extraordinarily fun, with most of the contestants being particularly root-forable today :-).

MYM-No way should this game have been lost.  $160?  C'MON!

2nd one bid-I loved Lucy's bid of her home town.

3rd one bid-Kitty litter as product prize for picnic set?
That was very funny!

Showdown #1-I love it! 2 $1000 are always exciting to see.

4th one bid- Bayer as a product prize attached to motorcycles?!

Cliffhangers-Well played.

Card Game-I knew Carolyn would lose once she said $15,500 as her final price.

6th one bid-Oh My!  Drain opener as a product prize attached to the kayak?!  Ha ha ha.

Showcases-I knew Mary was over on the Charger.

Overall- A very weird and good show today.

That playing of Make Your Move was a sure loss. There's no way that a dinette is that cheap.

I agree with the fact that Carolyn should've went on in Card Game.

I was leaning towards $3495 in Flip Flop. Good win.

That win in Cliffhangers was great as well.

The choice in One Wrong Price was a toughie. It was a great win, though.

I once said this about the Dodge Magnum.  Apparently, it applies to the Chargers, too.  A bare-bones Charger SE starts at $23,245, while a fully loaded SRT-8 tops out at more than $43,000.  THAT, my friends, is an evil car - given a $20,000 range.

I groaned when George picked 160 dollars for the dinette.  I knew that he had lost immediately.  I knew the dinette was 581, but I guessed 37 for the espresso maker and 6049 for Hawaii.  I would have lost too.
I would have taken 2500 and ran.  I don't need a car, I need money.  I applauded Ginger's decision.
Flip Flop was easy.  There was only one plausible answer, 3495.  Christine guessed it and won.
Two 1000 dollar winners in the SCSD!  Excellent!
Cliff Hangers was good.  Lucy made it out, much to my surprise.  The 2 dollar bid and the 2900 bid did not inspire confidence.  She made it out, and played her game well.  Applause.
Carolyn of course stopped too soon in Card Game.  I would have guessed 20,600 and won handily.  15,500 is way low for a Malibu Maxx.
I guessed the guitars too in One Wrong Price.  Mary picked the incorrectly priced item and won.
Another 1000 dollar winner in the 2nd SCSD.  How many times have there been three or more 1000 dollar winners in the SCSD.
Showcases:  I thought 14000 was a good bid for Showcase 1, little trailer, cheap boat.  It worked.  30,000 was way too much for Showcase 2.  I bid 24,888 and was over by 70.  Ouch!
Not a bad show today.

Frank and Ton are right.  Chargers and Magnums are evil pricewise.  The Chrysler 300 is too, ranging from about 23,500 base to 45,000+ for the top of the line SRT8 model.  I'm a Motor Trend subscriber, I definitely agree with Frank and Ton on this.  300, Charger, Magnum definitely ones to watch out for on PIR.

MYM: Ha! 160 for a dinette? Bob even knew the guy lost. But he did get the big price right, amazingly...

Roll: I don't blame her for taking 2500, with the cheapy Cobalt in this game for the 2nd time in a row.

Flip flop: Ends in 95 win

SCSD # 1 -- Whoa! I thought maybe we would have a repeat of 1998(or thereabouts) when we had 2 10,000 winners in the same SCSD. Such as it was, 2 $1,000 winners is a rarity for the SCSD. This was probably the best part of the show!(Aside from Bob and the one liners about the the cat litter, etc.)

Cliffy: That lady was funny, shouting for the mountain climber to stop! No wonder this is probably the most popular game on the show, and for good reason! And a win also..Yes!

Card: The usual "stopping way too early" syndrome again.... When was the last time that somebody actually WENT OVER in this game? Late '90s?

One Wrong Price: Easier setup than usual

SCSD: Make that 3 1k winners for the show. When was the last time we had 3 1k winners of the SCSD IN THE SAME SHOW?

Pretty interesting show.

Make Your Move: Got it right! Thought Bob was being a little mean but was probably justified - plus I thought it was quite funny!

Card Game: Under by 6K
Second Showcase with the car: Over by 6K
Go figure, eh?

Oh, and the first SCSD really reminded me of a playing of Bigjon's TPIR PC game. First spin, 1.00. Second person takes 2 spins to also make a dollar. But in mine, the third person also gets a dollar :D Still, interesting watching most of it happen for real. :P
