L7:  Evil Jeep price!  Can't stop the Dob Greco!

Again:  You were right the first time.

While noting the oopses today, Did I notice the lack of "twinkling" in the turntable lights in the 5th IUFB? While all solid isn't bad, it is so wrong.

Tough show today with the exception of Bonkers and Barker's Bargain Bar.  But with some particularly evil game setups, I wouldn't have done much better.

Lucky $even:  Ouch!  I don't think anybody would have guessed that the Jeep was almost $30K, even though it was loaded with options.  And with an 8 as the second number, it made the game virtually unwinnable.

It's in the Bag:  Painful loss!  I really wanted to see Cliff win big, but I had a feeling the wipes weren't that expensive.  This was one of the easiest setups I have ever seen in this game.

Bonkers:  Diana and I both Exacta-ed!  This was by far the easiest setup of the day, as the first two numbers were almost gimmies.  I wish Drew would remember to show the price.

Barker's Bargain Bar:  Those were some pretty serious bargains!  I would have also picked Montreal, and I was feeling pretty good about it until the price of Miami was revealed. 8-O

One Away:  I also thought the price of the car was $22,XXX.  I think everybody knew that Daniel lost when he changed the 5.

Double Prices:  I think we can blame the peanut gallery for this one.  This was another relatively easy setup that was botched by the contestant.

SCSD2:  Karen earns the dubious distinction of getting the first "Boo" of the season on the wheel.

Showcases:  Karen makes up for her trouble at the Wheel, but she definitely had some help from that boat.  That yacht was on some serious Dob-oids!

My Showcase Bids:

 :frbs:  $55,000 (OVER)
Room/Spa:  $15,998 (Diff: $3,468)

It was a good day for me to have to miss CSS.

Wait a minute, is Drew or Bob hosting? Hooray for the historical wrong in Bonkers!

Also, that was a very interesting camera angle used when Drew was explaining the sounds you hear when you hit the buzzer in Bonkers. Did they always use that?

Did anyone notice that the turntable light matrix wasn't blinking today? It was simply on with no chasing. That's gotta be a first in 37 years.

Drew seemed in a really good mood today. The show is always more fun when he's happy, and he definitely was upbeat for this show.

Actually I'll do one better. To any of you future audience members the next time you see that game remind Drew the actual title of it is IT'S In The Bag.

Just in case you missed the obvious during It's In The Bag.  That contestant, Cliff would have lost the game sooner if Tamiko had not mistakenly picked up the Capsazin.  He called for the Gold Bond lotion to go in the $14.99 bag.

Tamiko did not mistakenly pick up the Capzasin. After consulting with the Peanut Gallery Cliff clearly said "Cream" (he even pointed in that direction), and that's what she was bringing over. Drew got a bit mixed up, but in the end Cliff got what he wanted.

For the first time I can remember, I'd have lost Lucky $even on the very first number.  Seriously... what the heck made that thing so absurdly expensive?!

Why exactly did Dianna waste time after she placed the disks in Bonkers?  I can almost understand looking to the audience for advice, which oddly, she didn't do--then she just wasted time for no reason at all.  I don't get it.

That's twice in three days so far that the ninth contestant not only got up on stage, but wound up as the big winner of the day!  Awesome :)!

I know I'm supposed to pick Karen, for the obvious reason... but eh, gotta' go with Cliff.

That was the single-worst Lucky Seven playing I've ever seen. $298xx!! I guess Roger had that one prepared in case those 3 cars were won on the season premiere. :P

To be fair to Manon, I think it might be better to say that it was the worst Lucky Seven setup.
Given how many of us were fooled by that first number, it's safe to say that there was nothing wrong with how she played.

And quite frankly, it wasn't even the worst setup.  I've seen MUCH WORSE setups than this!

That Lucky 7 setup was EVIL!

The first number didn't trip me up (I said 7), but I never expected the second number to be 8 (I said 2).  I went broke!

I never thought that trip to Miami would be 7k plus.  I picked Montreal and I was so sure I won until that reveal showed it was 7,100 plus.  Darn.

Karen Walker, I almost expected Megan Mullally to run down to Contestant's Row and bid on that waterfall.

One Away I would have had the price right on the first shot.  Jason should have guessed his second bid first.  He would have won if he did.

That boat showcase sure was loaded.  I know these expensive showcases probably won't last, even though I wish they would.
