How many games can you think of that have (or have had) Mark Goodson Asterisks?

Take Two and Bonus Game I can think of right off the top.

Other games are Flip Flop, Race Game, Hi Lo, Give or Keep, 5 Price Tags, Pathfinder (4-digit version), and Barker's Marker$.

I think Time is Money did not have asterisks on it.

I don't think Time is Money had them either...

No, Time is Money definitely did have "some" asterisks, on the flippy price thingies.  What I couldn't tell was whether they were the "proper" asterisks, or just generic ones.  It was hard to get a really good look at them.

Oh, Frank, you forgot a couple -- Most Expensive and Shell Game!  Most Expensive had them while it shared props with Five Price Tags, and Shell Game has them on the blue cards that used to contain the small prize manufacturers' logos.

And haven't they also appeared two or three times in Spelling Bee when the electronics weren't working?

And no, the asterisks in Time Is Money were not G-T asterisks.

I forgot about Shell Game because you don't usually get to see them on the cards.  I guess they have no real reason to try to get it on camera anymore, but it'd be nice if they did.

As for Most Expensive... no real excuse for me forgetting that one.

As for Spelling Bee, I can't really remember.  I thought they were just blank on the back, but I don't really remember.

Wonder why they used generic, non Goodson-Toddman asterisks for Time is Money.  Guess we'll never know.

Money Game also had an asterisk.  It was the current 5-digit format with the old board.  The asterisk was used to cover up the middle number in the price of the car.

It isn't a game but the sound booth in the back of the audience had an asterisk on it for a while. Anyone know why it was removed?

Well, it may not have necessarily been removed.  It could still be on there under the red curtain that covers the booth.

But the reason why the red curtain was put over the booth was to make it blend in better in the background.  Of course, why there was one episode where the curtain was black doesn't suffice with that reasoning.
Roger Dobkowitz's Seven Commandments of The Price Is Right:
1. Tape and edit the show as if it were live.
2. Never tell the contestant what to do.
3. Size matters. (The bigger the prize, the better the prize and the bigger the reaction.)
4. All prizes are good.
5. Never do anything on the show that would embarrass a parent with a kid watching.
6. Never put on a prize that would make the show look cheap.
7. It’s the game, stupid! (It’s about the game.)
