(Note to the Mods: I'm not sure if I can post the actual spoiler in the title, if it's OK, or it's way past the deadline for no spoilers, feel free to amend the title and/or delete this line)

From today's (10/3/2008) first showcase, Rich Fields appears in a showcase skit!  The whole first showcase + intro + bid included.
So long!

Truly one of the most unique showcases I've ever seen. I loved how Rich described the cash. I think it may have worked better as a second showcase, since they mentioned there's no prizes, but they some ready for the second one.

That was a pretty good showcase. It was certainly different, and Rich got some well-deserved exposure.  :-)

I noticed that Rich recaps every showcase this year. Seems weird at first, but maybe it was a request or something due to contestants forgetting everything when they went to bid.
I can think of numerous times where people couldnt give a bid b/c all of the pressure and anxiety of the show was making them forget.

Also, while some may think that this is heading in a new direction, i actually think its heading in an old direction. Showcases from the Olsen days were just as wacky, if not worse. And if Rich is getting air time now in the showcases, im all for this "new" direction. BTW, i like how Rich had to describe the cash.  :oldlol:
