I seriously doubt anyone knows that for certain...and on top of that, Roger isn't the executive producer.

I think most everything in this thread isn't trivia but pointless minutiae which 99.99999% of society has no clue about and doesn't really care to know about.  As an example...

For the first question, next to nobody on this board would know the answer to that, except maybe the person playing the game.  (FWIW, he is a good friend.)  Meanwhile, the final two questions aren't TPiR trivia at all.  They should be filed under W, for "Who cares?".

Maybe it's just me but your questions should be more focused towards casual fans of the show, not for people who can remember mass quantities of useless information.

A) Flip Flop
B) Grocery Game
C) Pathfinder
D) Three Strikes

The answer is Grocery Game.

No.  Despite what so many insist, no one has ever cheated in Flip Flop.  The contestant was simply being a jerkish showoff, but that alone does not make a cheater.  As in he was not trying to cheat the show, and most likely never expected to be awarded the prize anyway.

A) 1
B) 2
C) 3
D) 4

That's probably not the best question either.  For whatever reason, the theme was originally played in a lower key, E I believe.  Whereas nowadays it's in F.  That arguably makes for two variations of the same theme.  Not off-the-wall different, but the problem is I would essentially have to read your mind as to whether or not you count it as a variation to know whether the answer is 1 or 2.

Well, let's see if this is a better question:

Which of these games does NOT use a "higher or lower" choice for the pricing of its small prizes?

A) Bonus Game
B) Five Price Tags
C) Shell Game
D) Punch-A-Bunch

Here's another one.  This one is also True/False; yes, it's easier than my first one.

TRUE or FALSE:

On the many occasions in which Bob Barker is confronted with a wild contestant, he makes the contestant promise that he/she will not cause Bob any "serious bodily harm".

Answer:  TRUE

Here are a couple:

I believe it was 1986, a contestant was playing Race Game when the countdown went up instead of down. How high did it go before finally staring to count down?

(A) 55
(B) 70
(C) 63
(D) 99

Answer: C

Also in '86, a contestant won Bullseye by purchasing a certain number of packs of Clorets gum, with help from an audience member. How many did he buy?

(A) 10
(B) 13
(C) 17
(D) 20

Answer: B

Maybe those are too specific, but it certainly would prove you're a loyal friend and true.

I have created the quiz at funtrivia.com. I've used some of my favorite questions. I'm just awaiting approval by one of the editors. If it gets approved, I'll put a link to where you can find it.

Actually, I think that would just prove that one has seen those two episodes.  I suppose one could call me a loyal friend and true, and I'd have no clue on either one of those. I can just see casual fans of the show thinking...what the HECK...

I see what you mean, I sort of had second thoughts about the loyal friend and true comment after posting. I guess what I was thinking is it would show one has been watching the show steadily for many years, but certainly not very many have had that opportunity.
