I call foul here.  Shouldn't the host give at least 24 hours to sign up?

I got so sidetracked by so many responses, I got scared and you saw what happened. I am so sorry.

As per the rules at the top of this forum:

Quote
4: You should give at least 24 hours to allow people to sign up for your show from when you first create the thread. Also, you must wait for at least 9 people to sign up for your show, unless you're doing a half-hour format, in which case, at least 6 signups are needed.

I suggest you read the rules up there.  We're lenient about the "post enough in other areas" during the summer, but for the most part, you need to follow those.  Look at it this way:  you didn't start the show yet anyway, really, so you really shouldn't have trouble starting up again.

And getting scared... don't buy it.  Doesn't make any sense.  What does getting scared have to do with jump-starting a show?  From the first post in this thread, it looks like you did exactly as you intended.  Just intend differently next time.  Which "next time" can be anytime from this point forward, as this show's being closed.
