CSS Results for October 30

WTG !!!!

On a day when 11 out of 19 players overbid a Ford Focus showcase, you pulled off a DSW. And you thought you were lousy at CSS. ;)

And being that only 8 people scored points, it appears that I garfed the piano the least. I know why I wasn't a bit more aggressive ($18,888 came to mind but I said "that's not the good Yamaha piano, it won't be that much...") my reasoning was flawed but there's my excuse nonetheless.

Enzo and Fields... I've got my eye on you two. When two bids are identical (and don't end in -00, -25, -50, -75, -99 or some other common combination) and the other is only $1 off... it screams bid coordination, which isn't very sportsmanlike. I'm not accusing anyone of anything... just watch it.

There was no bid coordination at all, I think Fieldsy just wanted to beat me.  :-P I'm going to keep my eye on her as well, since she beat me out of a top-5 win.

But hey, atleast I got out of a Big One!

I demand a "Best of the Worst" award for having the lowest overbid and the overall best bid on the piano.

Either way, two overs in a row now. Sad times. :(
Yeah...let's make this current shall we?

I think it's due to the fact that I've ended each bid this week in "666"...

I'm hoping class is over early tomorrow so I can join you folks on Halloween for the Chatroom Showcase Spookoff!

It's only fitting that I go OVER on the one-year anniversary of my first CSS game, in which I also went OVER.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I was also definitely shocked with SC1 - Switzy ended up being 6k when it should be at least 8. Also, was Ashley non-kindling...?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Clearly I didn't hear it was a Focus that Rich was trying to hold back.

I completely blame it on these pathetic attempts at humor.
They can be close at the top, too.

That just reminded me---I wanted to plug the Chatroom Showcase Scareoff after the show today!

Spookoff sounds better, though. Today was the Scareoff.

That's the story of my season so far.  I wouldn't have QSW'd yesterday, but I would have had a darn good 3rd place finish.  I thought for sure that I had the Focus nailed when I entered my bid today, but the #%@* dirt cheap Switzerland trip did me in.

$27,600/$17,300... I felt pretty confident that I didn't give up a win today. This one had ND written all over it.

You can't catch a break, can you? That's like the third QSW you've missed out on. :-(

You're right heels, I can't catch a good break.  Blame this one on Time Warner Cable...  :-x
