Mateo: HERE IT COMES!!!

From the Sovereign - err - I mean, Santander - err - I mean, wherever the heck we are in Reading, Pennsylvania...

A very special tribute to Dale Earnhardt, Sr. to celebrate the third show of my very own The Price is Right 2008!

CU - I SEE YOU - 2010, Come on Down!

PATHFINDER20, Come on Down!

PUNCHBOARD91, Come on Down!

and... ROB79, Come on Down!

You are the first four contestants on The Third Show Celebration of Mateo's The Price is Right 2008!

And now, here is the ham of The Price is Right 2008... TODD!

Thank you! I am in no way, shape, or form a ham, but I thank you for the thunderous applause!

And now Mateo, let's see the first item up for bids.

Hey, don't light your kitchen on fire with this new oven!

From GE, this is a double oven. Double equals 2 ovens. Which means double the cooking. Which means you can cook 2 things at once. Which means someone will be expecting more of you this holiday season. Anyway, that could go to the one of you who -

MATEO! You've done that to me all three shows so far!

Anyway, thatwonderfulovencouldgototheoneofyouwh obidsclosesttotheactualretailpricewitho utgoingover!

Rob, best of luck to you, and start us off with the bidding please.

Oh it's heating up down in Contestant's Row already!

And cu, for the sake of us all, can you please bid in numbers? The last thing we need is Mateo breaking the podium trying to squeeze something in...

Anyway, the actual retail price of the oven is... $1398! Punchy, get on up here!

Welcome to the stage Punchy. Now, you know that there's a show in LA going on right now that has practically the exact same name as us. And you know that they want to start every show off with a car or cash game. Well Punchy, Mateo's not going to let you down, because you could win this...

A new truck!!!

That's right, a new truck. How does that sound Punchy? Well, you know what, don't answer that because I want to talk to you some more. Now, you know that this is a very special episode, and you see 1 vehicle won in a game on any regular show. But, like I said, this show is special, so Mateo's going to offer you this as well! ...

A new crossover!!!

Punchy, how do 2 automobiles sound? Well, don't go beserk yet! You know that The Intimidator's number was 3, so we gotta do it, Punchy look at Door 3!! ...

A NEW CADILLAC!!!!!!

That's right Punchy, THREE AUTOMOBILES! And if you couldn't tell, we are going to be playing Triple Play today, so Mateo, describe for us this Chevy truck please.

Ok, first of all Punchy, don't expect to win this game. I would never even think about giving a Cadillac away, especially to you.

Mateo, stop being rude to our contestants! Don't you have a truck to describe?

Who are you to tell me what to do? Do you want your paycheck?

Mateo, the truck...

FINE! This 2009 Chevy Colorado 1WT comes with standard equipment.

Thank you Mateo! That was like pulling teeth!

Anyway... Both these prices are wrong, Punchy. Tell me which one is closest to the actual retail price of that truck without going over, and we move onto the GMC crossover.

At least the numbers...err...words... aren't red, Todd. :D

Punchy, that's either the world's easiest setup...or the world's cheapest truck. :D  I'd go with $13,999 myself.

.....

Wouldn't the car be $13,000 something or other, though? Is this some kind of a trick? This isn't Frank's show. But.....argh!

I'll go with $13,999, just so I can blame cu if I'm wrong.  :P

Punchy seems confused, which I'm guessing is the exact reaction that Mateo wanted. But anyway, he chooses $13,999 and...

(DING!)

That's right! And now we move to the crossover. Mateo?

Hah, so you're a little smarter than I thought! Let's see you try to win this GMC Acadia! The 2009 GMC Acadia SLE-1 3SA once again comes with standard equipment.

Alright Punchy, tell me which one you think it is.

I agree: Most, not all, GMC vehicles around $33,000, without options. If it was a Yukon or Yukon Denali, I'd chose $40,211. But, since it's a Acadia, I'd would heavily advise $29,011.
