So it looks like today's show is a rerun. Does anyone know if tomorrow's show will be the same?
-
Yes, due to the fact that NCAA men's basketball tournament preempts TPiR on the West Coast.

False.
Price is scheduled from 2-3pm PT. If basketball runs over, it will be joined in progress.

Today's rerun was December 26, 2023 (http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,35202.0.html), if you're scoring at home.

Price is normally scheduled from 10-11 AM PT; it was moved to 2-3 PM PT today and tomorrow due to the tournament. By definition, moving a show from its normal time to a different time means it was preempted.

but it's still a rerun today and tomorrow

But you didn't say that in your original post. You said it was preempted. That was misleading. Someone living in the Pacific time zone could read that and think the show isn't on at all and be misled.
Side Note: I work in a broadcast hub that runs 5 CBS stations and used to run two others, including KPHO in Phoenix, AZ who would air the Pacific feed in this situation, in fact I peeked in on them and saw the rerun at its proper time today. :)

The first NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament game on CBS today, (8) Florida Atlantic vs. (9) Northwestern in Brooklyn, NY is now in overtime. This will cause the second game, (1) Connecticut vs. (16) Stetson to tip after 3:15 PM.
CBS Sports will certainly remain on the air for a good part of the 5:00 PM ET (2:00 PM PT) hour. For situations like this on the West Coast, does CBS typically join the Price rerun in progress?

Yup. Indeed they will. If fact, in case you're curious, here is the info straight from CBS in their procedures:

FYI: CPT means "Current Pacific Time".
