Out In Left Field / Re: Masters 2024 Golf
« Last post by SeaBreeze341 on April 14, 2024, 06:55:11 PM »
I'm not sure what Scottie Scheffler did during Monday's eclipse, but a couple things, IMO, are true.  With his second jacket in 3 years, he eclipsed his first performance.  More important, by the end of the month, his story eclipsed at least most of those that were treated to a very nice time.  Fortunately, he didn't have to bolt mid tournament & back to Texas to be there for the birth of his first child.  Which, by the way is bigger than both of his wins at Augusta.

All jokes aside, one thing is isn't a joke is Scottie is definitely the best player in the world.

The TALK Is Right / Re: Ten Chances questions
« Last post by furneralcar47 on April 14, 2024, 02:50:50 PM »
Sharing too much on camera/ in studio is the kind of behavior that made us GR.NETTERS lose favor with the previous administration.

I feel that if a stage contestant has not 杜astered the basic nuances of the pricing games BEFORE making the trek to the show then that is their tough luck.
100
I admit I don稚 feel bad when a Contestant crashes and burns on stage after $1ering someone else.

It痴 usually a case of refusing to think for themselves.  Because often the APR of the prize in question is over $200 more than the $01 bid.

I especially love seeing the $1er fail on stage when they act like they are so great and smart when in reality they just copied off someone痴 paper so to speak.
