I'm not trying to be mean-spirited in any way, but does anyone know when the "tradition" of booing when the contestant didn't get the wheel all the way around stopped, as it did not happen twice in such a situation today?
I hope the (as of now) 8 double dollars doesn't make Mike too grumpy or anything. That is a really high outlier and it should come down next season. Definitely impacted the budget in some way this season.
Sometimes people still do it, but generally, nobody boos if it's an older person that didn't get the wheel all the way around. They usually only boo for younger people not getting it to go around.
I seem to remember Drew actually discouraging the booing on several occasions,I recall reading that Drew does not like the booing.
whereas Bob would play it up.And on some occasions, boo along with the audience. :-P
