If you ask me, 2019 is off to a good start. I spent $15 on scratch offs from my local Kroger today (Michigan's where I'm from, in case you're wondering) and gained a $22 profit, and just two weeks ago I spent $15 and gained back the investment plus $29!
However, this is too insignificant to deserve a whole topic. So I'll follow it up with two questions: Do you play scratch offs and if so, what's the most you've won? For me it was $75 on a single ticket three years ago. I'd love to hear from you!

I play occasionally but mostly just tickets that I get for my birthday or Christmas. The most I've won is $50.

To me, scratch offs are a waste of money.

This. Once in a blue moon a family member buys me one and I'll scratch it, but otherwise it's better to save the money. It's somewhat religious as well, as I don't feel spending money on the lottery is being a good steward of the money God's given you.

I do it at times. :) I've won $50 and $100 a handful of times from them.

I broke even with the $4 of scratch-offs I got from this past Christmas. Still, I'd rather play blackjack, video poker, or craps than scratching out some paper with a coin, the most I've ever won on one is $10.

The Georgia Lottery’s slogan is “Today could be the day.” In my case it’s “That’ll be the day.”
Played a scratch-off once. Said it won money off me.

I play scratch offs very frequently and won 100 dollars many many times. The most I won on one is $1000 late march last year. I live in illinois.
