A notable episode in that Magic # has its closest win ever, with the lady getting the price exactly on the nose. Plus some wordplay with Drew and Rich.

...but do you think it's possible the wheel was rigged??

Anything is possible, I suppose, but my question would be a simple one:  Why??

The show has enjoyed a pretty spotless record for 45+ seasons.  Hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and prizes are given away every week, and a few times a year, hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash OR prizes are offered up and/or given away in a single game.  Price gives away literally millions of dollars in cash and prizes every season.

If the show was caught rigging the wheel, the repercussions would be huge.  Despite being illegal to rig a game show, the negative publicity would cripple the show's popularity, and it could conceivably force Price off the air.

All this risk for what?  $80K on the big wheel?

The historic 2nd SCSD has gone viral of course. This is just a thought, but do you think it's possible the wheel was rigged??

Not likely. Knowing that the show has gone 45 seasons indecent free (Bar the exact bid showcase and rigging Plinko, but neither of those were the show's intentions),  the 1/400000ish odds are more likely.

Also, because all logic is broken now, we will see our first 50k Plinko winner soon, y/y  :-)

The Steelers also stayed in their locker room during the anthem.

Apparently, they stayed in their locker room during the game, too.

Thanks for bringing back the colorful graphics in the recaps!  Yes Gridlock was underwhelming - I am sure they will work out the kinks like putting price on screen without knowing it is correct.  I think that is the problem with high tech video screens vs. the old school props.  They shouldn't put the # on the screen unless it's correct.  They should do a split screen with the green screen on top and the cars on the bottom to verify if a guess is right or wrong.  Hopefully they will work out the kinks, but let's face it - this is Money Game 2.0

The TALK Is Right / No more "Big Money Week?"
« Last post by whowouldeverhurtawhammy on Today at 12:39:41 AM »
I've noticed that Big Money Week takes place about a few weeks or a month after the season premiere for the past few seasons...however, it's not on the taping schedule for the forseeable taping shows. Has it been retired or something?

Today's loss against the Un-Patriots was a huge blow to my hometeam, the Houston Texans.

Wild ending to Atlanta-Detroit. Matt Ryan throws three interceptions (one a pick six) and still wins, thanks to a TD call reversal with 0:08 left and a ten-second runoff.
