Sorry everyone for the late response but I had just gotten back from vacation a few days ago. But you'll be pleased to know I can officially tell you that " Big Money Week " will air the week of Feb 19th 2018!! I went to all 5 tapings which were taped Oct 9.10 and 11. I had a blast at all those tapings even though I didn't get called down!!! I won't spoil anything but they're all shows you don't want to miss!! Everyone can rest easy now!! I can't wait to do it again next year!!

Astros over Dodgers in 4.

What? I don't have a death wish- what are you talking about?

(Seriously, Dodgers in 5.)

Dodgers over Astros. I'd expect a curb-stomping.

The Astros make history as the first team to ever represent both leagues in a World Series. The first time they appeared in the Fall Classic (12 years ago, as a member of the NL), they were swept by the White Sox in four. Now we just need the Brewers to accomplish the same feat, and there's always next year for them.

That being said, my revised prediction is Dodgers over Astros.

Alex did a sensational job hosting and interviewing other hosts.
I agree, this was well put together. It was fun to see his face-to-face interviews with Regis Philbin, fellow Canadian Howie Mandel and partner-in-crime Pat Sajak, and I thought it was interesting to learn that Merv Griffin, who created both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, spent more time writing puzzles for WOF than he did the clues for J! Also, to have him in an otherwise empty comedy club with Drew Carey was a stroke of genius.

So much for a Dodgers-Yankees series.

I'll take LA in 4.

Overall, I liked it. It covered a surprisingly large amount of ground given its running time, but there were some glaring omissions (particularly Concentration, Fleming Jeopardy!, The Joker's Wild, Sale of the Century, and Press Your Luck). I also would've liked a segment devoted to cable game shows (no offense to Deal or No Deal, which had a great segment in the documentary, but I think something like Cash Cab is more well-remembered nowadays).

I was very impressed by the amount of non-Fremantle-owned content that was shown, which obviously must have cost a lot of money to air (they even pulled up a clip of The Wizard of Odds, for crying out loud!). Unfortunately, because of this, it was painfully obvious that Buzzr couldn't obtain the rights to air any Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? clips when the segment for that show was only supplemented by pictures and audio, but that was obviously out of their control.

So, how would you make the game distinct from Double Cross?

I think you mean Pathfinder. This game is basically Pathfinder.

In the very first Barker episode, Connie said "I don't trust you." to Bob during the showcase round.  I suspect Connie thought she had to give up her fur coat and car in order to play for a showcase, similar to how LMAD contestants had to give up what they had previously won.  Understandable given it was the very first episode of the current format of "Price".

Given that the audience only knew Bob from Truth or Consequences, it seems quite natural that stage contestants had some apprehensions over the new format...which they had not seen at all before then.

Hmm...could Check Game be cashed up?  Maybe make the range $100,000 to $105,000 for a car?

Definitely would make for a tough setup but an exciting win
