These were an interesting pair of SCs, with a surprise new car on the season showing up in the Kona, and it came with a trim + all-wheel-drive buff to its ARP. That also was the big boy sauna, so both SCs were pretty sexed up, leading to only two raw scores above 90 - Cephas cashes 2, and I DSW 1.

The TALK Is Right / Re: Potential IATSE Strike 2024 Discussion Thread
« Last post by pannoni1 on Yesterday at 08:18:08 AM »
Was hoping they'd have the mystery building next door finished in time for S53. Hopefully Price can benefit from a summer tourism boom.

The poor crew, though. Only a month break in between seasons.

This could be like the Barker era though where they would tape the early episodes of a season in May/June, have the taping break in July/August, then resume production around Labor Day, and perhaps have the building done after that break.

With talks already underway, and with the recent lessons learned from the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes, I believe a stoppage is unlikely at this point.

Jennifer completely screwed up the ending of To the Penny. She should’ve blindly guessed on the $25,000 item BEFORE spending any pennies. That way, she would have gotten one risk-free guess instead of wasting two pennies to not even try.
I've seen at least a few players not even reach the $12,000 product, but good point you have. I'm thinking she wouldn't have won the $25,000 anyway, since she would have guessed $5.59.
