Finally a Canadian team goes through to round 2! The Edmonton Oilers have hung on and defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 to win 4 games to 2. They will face the Anaheim Ducks in round 2.
What about different representations of the concept of "up"?  Like a computer arrow key, the Pixar movie, an elevator button, UP magazine, the word "Up" from Step Up, etc.  Then you'd literally be covering up.

So a couple of audience members thought they could try and sneak a shirt with a vulgar joke past the show...

TL;DR: the show managed to catch it post and censor it. And it's indirectly Drew's fault, since it was apparently based on a joke he himself made on Conan O'Brien's show years ago.

If I have to contribute to this, the only bending of rules I can think of that makes any sort of sense involves Danger Price. Offer a bailout option after each of the first two choices should the contestant succeed in avoiding the Danger Price.
