One of these days, someone will win “Pay the Rent” without it being set up for an easy win.
That PTR setup...

It would have taken more skill to lose the game than it took to win. I’m happy for Rocco being $100,000 (minus taxes) richer, but it was basically handed to him, and that just doesn’t sit well with me.
I won't get a chance to watch this anytime soon, just curious if the sign off was still present / changed? I'm asking because I saw last week that FremantleMedia rebranded itself with a new logo and just the name Fremantle.
Is the shampoo for Pay the Rent $4.19 or $18.99? Adam said it was $4.19 in the text, but in the diagram he said that it was $18.99. I'm just wondering which is correct.
Allergy relief for $18.99. I am an idiot.
Has anyone come close yet? I think I recall someone bailing out with a winning solution to a hard setup, but I could be wrong on that.

Way back in 2010 (http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,15955.0.html), a contestant stopped with $10,000 when they had the winning order to a one-solution Pay the Rent. The next time a contestant bailed out but could have won the $100,000 was a couple of years later (http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,21145.0.html) with an eight-solution setup.

I thought this was a big letdown for a season premiere. A season premiere is supposed to be special. The fact that it's a season premiere should be enough to stand on its own. But then they stuck in the Daytime Emmy celebration. I feel like the fact that it's the first show of the 47th season got shoved aside to celebrate the Emmy. The Emmy celebration could have and should have been a separate show.
Then the lineup wasn't as good as it could have been. Double Prices is a weak way to start off any show, let alone a special theme show. I don't care for a practically forced win in Pay the Rent, but if they were going to do it they should have made it the opening pricing game.
I usually look forward to the season premieres, but I feel like I got cheated this year.
