So. If you remember when I left the job as recapper at the end of Season 43 it was because I was starting graduate school and was going to be busy. Ironically, I probably could've kept the job for the most part. However, one Masters degree later, I am currently jobless and since the recap section is a mess since I resigned at the end of 43, having someone like me doing the job would probably be best for the site.
That said, I've got a new season 46 recap header and we have fixed the broken ones that occurred when an outside source broke. Templates have been created for Vend-O-Price and Hot Seat. Until I get a job, I will happily do the job. So, with the season starting soon, I am happy to announce for the time being, I am back as your recapper.

I hated the way the old ones were done, they only listed the outcomes of the pricing games. They didn't list the outcomes of the one bids, the showcase showdowns, and the showcases. I don't watch Price that much. So the way the old ones were done, I was left wondering about the rest of the episode.

My favorite recap layout so far has been from those three seasons. It goes really well with the site. Even with the change in color a few years ago, the template still looks good.

I much prefer the fully detailed ones (the ones where it lists who gets called down when, the prizes that are offered (and the features they come with, when applicable, such as for trips, the destination, the hotel, AND the other stuff like daily breakfast, boat tours, etc)
And I think last time I checked you were the one who did those recaps so I'm glad to have you back

I think prize details have been standard since 2006 or earlier (May 2006 is as far back as the current G-R site can go). The details seem to have improved over time, and even TPIRFan2000 had plenty about the prizes.
The recap structures have certainly changed, though.

I was mainly referring to the fact that the recaps from recently literally were just in this format:
[pricing game 1] [outcome]
[pricing game 2] [outcome]
[pricing game 3] [outcome]
[pricing game 4] [outcome]
[pricing game 5] [outcome]
[pricing game 6] [outcome]
The recaps I remembered before that actually had all the details and whatnot

No problem. The big headache is whether or not I get a job in the meantime.

That's because we haven't had a full time recap guide since the end of Season 44.
