Safe Crackers was evil. I thought the price for the monitors were 540.
Big kudos to Stan for the fourth one-bid music. That bell variant of the main theme was from the '72 pack, and fit really well with the "nursery" theme.
A minivan. When was the last time they offered one of those?
(I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned One Away yet. Looks like I get dibs. ;))...Huh?
I realize that the show's theme dictated what type of prizes we'd see, but almost all baby-related items is still rather dull.I know that only baby items for a show is dull considering that there are people that don't like baby items on the show.
...Oh...
To be honest, I and all in chat must have been half-asleep to miss that a model wasn't assisting OA. Watch this be a one-time thing...
Does it bother anyone else that most (all?) of the contestants chosen to come up on stage were from California? Not only that, but in the immediate area surrounding Los Angeles. I mean, if that's the best the staff can do, then it shows how many people actually care about a "special" like this.
*Oh....and what in the world had Drew cracking up at the end today?

Have they been using the cue from the fifth Item up for Bids on a regular basis, or was that new? It sounded like it would fit fairly well with the normal music.I'm pretty sure this is the first time for that piece, it's in the same "suite" of cues as the piano cue (used here when Rich screwed up the prize description for the prior one-bid) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=JdxOpS4i-jQ#t=106s).
I want to apologize to SteveGavazzi. I meant to EDIT one of his comments, and accidentally DELETED it. My bad.
Dare I ask what was being edited?

EDIT: Never mind. Pretty sure I know. PJHeath?
Tape Date 9/6/2011The tape date is actually November 29. (Source (http://www.cbs.com/shows/the_price_is_right/airdates/66041/))
I suppose I can understand why Drew would laugh at the end of the show, but the reasons behind spaying and neutering pets are serious. Makes me wonder about how sincere he is about the cause, or if he just says the line every day because he thinks it's just tradition.
I actually took it that he was laughing at what he had said right before the spayed/neutered plug. I think he had said something to the tune of "it was fun having the expecting mothers playing. it was nice to have all of you here." It looked as if he realized he sounded dumb when he said that and just started laughing, or something happened off camera too.
I warned him I can make him disappear.
There was a strange error on the rebroadcast of this episode...a double light border with the second one smaller in the upper right section of the screen.
It must have been a network error; I can't believe this wouldn't have been mentioned had it aired this way the first time around.
