As a side note, I never would've believed that a classic car like that Bellaire would've been less than $20 grand.
As a side note, I never would've believed that a classic car like that Bellaire would've been less than $20 grand.
They practically built a special show around the new Side by Side set theme...
...only to set it up with an unwinnable 99xx setup?
The nod to the Cullen era Price is Right was a nice touch (which I don't believe ever really happened during Bob's reign other than the opening of episode 1 when he said "Let me assure fans of the old Price is Right this is is your favorite game based on the pricing of merchandise...")
The earliest Cullen ep I've seen is a daytime show from February 21, 1957. GSN aired it and it's on the DVD set. A Barker episode from 1982 came in from a commercial with Bob talking with an audience member who asked if Bill Cullen hosted the original Price and Bob verified it. (Bill was hosting Child's Play at the time which preceded Price on CBS.)
What the heck was the purpose of having the guy from B&B on?
Side by Side - Why is everybody saying this was an unwinnable setup?
