Title: "Easy as 1-2-3" and "Clearance Sale" the same game?

Is it just me or are "Clearance Sale" and "Easy as 1-2-3" basically the same game? In both instances the object is to guess the prizes from least expensive to most expensive in order.

No, they are not the same game.

"Easy as 1-2-3", you're putting prices in order, least to most expensive.

"Clearance Sale", you're trying to assign sale prices to the proper prizes.

Not even close.

But the only way to correctly assign the sale prices is to put the prizes in price order.

Yes, they are essentially the same game.  But we have had a few threads around here about games which are similar in concept, but slighlty different in theirt presentation.

It doesn't happen often, but a couple times people have mentioned playings of Clearance in which, if the same prizes had been offered in Easy, they would have ordered them differently. Having the sales prices available can give you some idea of what the real prices will be, so that accounts for a slight difference.
