Title: Cameras on stage
Post by: PIR85 on May 23, 2006, 12:30:10 PM
This is from the Q&A section on CBS's official site:

Q: I'm a Canadian fan of THE PRICE IS RIGHT and I was wondering how many cameras are there on the stage? Is it four or five? I would also like to know what kind of papers it takes as proof of age to get on the show for a Canadian citizen. Thank you so much.

A: There are four moveable cameras and one stationary. As for your second question, only a driver's license and a social security card are required.

As for the cameras... where is the stationary one located?

Thanks!

I believe they would be referring to the jib camera which is used on the MDS shows only.

I also like that they say Canadians need a Social Security card, since Social Security is an American program.

(What they meant to say was "Social Insurance card." But it's fun to nitpick.)

I have been at tapings where they have referred to it as a "Social Insurance Card". But, yes, I've also heard them slip up and say "Social Security".. D'OH!
