I'm going to start condensing the weekly leaderboards into one big thread. Feel free to post as usual between updates.
-
The Browns win a game, and I'm in the top three in CSS
Folks, hell has froze over.
-
I didn't even realize I dswed on thursday.
-
Zeroing on Friday hurts so, so, so much. This reminds me of that in stark detail.
-
Still very early going. GRF is just over the line and DSW'd today, vaulting him to the top for now.
One notable... PriceFan985 has not been online since July 3rd. Hope he's doing alright wherever he is, regardless of CSS.
-
-
-
This is a first for me: going the first 3 weeks of the CSS season without registering an overbid!
-
Ugh, can't seem to right the ship yet this season. I'm all over the place in a bad way.
-
Ten games played, and seven overbids.
I have reached peak silverice 🤦🏻♂️
-
-
-
2K go away, cash again some other day
-
I cannot remember the last time I went one whole week without an OVER. Granted, it's mostly because of the jacked-up showcases we've seen this week. Lots of GARFs/GOTCs.
-
With 985 playing FPG, it seems he's decided / is too busy now in the day for CSS. That means a new points champion will likely come out of this season. gamesurf still leads that early.
-
Yup, have a day job now. On the bright side, the points race should actually be interesting for once lol!
-
Dunno how a string of conservative, mostly mediocre bids are keeping me on the leaderboards, but eh I’ll take it

Killing 'em with consistency.

The points race is starting to come into focus. I really look forward to seeing this evolve for the first time in a long while without PriceFan985.
-
I have two more small leaderboard updates on the next two Wednesdays (first one will be double values). See you then.
-

-
Introducing more detailed DSW stats!
-DSW stat is now a fraction. The bottom is all the times you were within $250 of a SC (unless you Q'd, you'll see an additional number, like silverice's), the top is the amount of those that were NOT blown by going over on the other SC. Previously just the top of this fraction was shown.
-WSD & WSQ stats are in a new column.
-the low SC is really a useless holdover stat, albeit fun to look at. I'm thinking about getting rid of it next season, but at the same time it's overall harmless... I want to distinguish point wins from best raw scores, that could be a replacement. Nothing will change the rest of this season, though.
I made the fractions as readable as possible, but you may need to come closer to the screen / squint a bit. If you care enough for these stats, I think that's a small price to pay!
-
Let's get a full week in soon, yeah? News permitting.
-
-
-
One more leaderboard left to go in 2018.
-
The "POINT WINS" column has been renamed to "1ST", the number of times you finished at the top of the scoreboard on any given CSS day. The sum of this column should be the number of CSS games played.
The "SC WINS" column has been renamed "$ CNT" ("CASH COUNT"). The sum of this column should be 2 times the number of CSS games played.
A "RAW" column has been added. This is the number of times you had the best raw (lowest total difference, if you didn't go over). Quite often this comes hand in hand with 1STs, but you can get one without the other. The sum of this column should be the number of CSS games played.
-
hey look, 2K & I are repeating our previous seasons. who woulda thought.
also Randy surges up the leaderboard.
-
Randy can do no wrong, for now...
Even if this is the highest he goes, he's played all 69 games and is in 2nd place in points, and significantly above 100 points in average. That is something I could never do.
-
So it seems like Randy is going to try to selectively play the rest of the way and maintain his point average after that huge climb the previous two weeks. We'll see how that goes, I know I always want to play!
-
Worst week of the season for me

-
Tris enters serious playoff bonus contention with 3rd in points and 5th in cash. Kev is also firmly in 3rd now on cash.
-
I have 6 blown DSWs. 15 DSWs in 89 games is insane too.
-
1 mil for 2K! and I'm right behind.
-
Cash is turning into a three-way race! Also with less players over the line this year, 10th place in points is at just a 85 point average. The top 3 is pretty set here, but there's some movement down there to be had.
-
Friday was a pretty big shift at the top, with that Fireball. Tris is admittedly having a lucky season when he cashes and doubles up, but it all counts in the end and he's right there with 2nd in points and 4th in cash. All those play-alongs, with more to come, don't hurt!
I never posted officially, but of course Wednesday was wiped out. Thanks to that Canadian YT posting, that game will never be made up either.
-
Five straight overs. Peachy 🙃
-
I'm happy to say a couple players right on the cusp of the line are above it, bringing our playoff competitor count up to 28 (sans Stagey).
-
jj jumped from an average of 77.69 (13th) to 85.36 (9th) in one 8x playing. That's seismic yet at the same time, not too shattering, and 8x is a once in a blue moon event. Shows you how safe the top 4 in points are, huh?
Kev enters the million dollar club for the first time in a few seasons, I believe (more due to available playing time for him than any change of ability to do it). I'm doing the best of balancing cash & points, but it's pretty hard when 20k showcases are running rampant this month.
Enjoy this last little break until the stretch run, and see you next Monday.
-
Less than $1000 separates the top two in cash. Fun times.
-
Cash is now a three-man race.

three weeks until the standings are used to make up playoff bonus points!
-
I missed that priac made the million dollar club last week. I feel like a bad host for missing that.
-
You’re an awesome host!
Best thing about being a “CSS Millionaire” ? No taxes! 😂
-
No, you make a fantastic host!
And priac, I have no taxes, either.
I'm also broke! 😂
-
While the top 2 in points are set, anywhere in 3rd to 10th can still swap easily with 5 playings to go until the playoff bonus points are decided. Notably jj has entered the top 10 just barely with a Plinko doubler & exacta week.
The top 3 royalty in cash also can make a move anytime, as Dream Car SCs could be quite a lot all week.
-
Two quick questions: can I still participate in CSS (as if it was a regular game) even though I'm not eligible for the playoffs? If so, will the outcomes affect my average?

yes and yes, this is covered in a stickied thread

Just reread the rules a few days ago, but thanks for answering anyway!
-
Will keep posting these every Friday as the playoffs go on, but obviously importance will take a backseat.
Looking at the calendar and what I did last year, I will probably count CSS all the way until July 4th again (just 4 shows after the playoffs, basically semi-scrimmages). July 17th will 100% be a scrimmage.
-
I completely forgot that June 28th is a show that actually aired in Canada. So I might just end CSS on June 25th (with a double values finale on the 25th), and have two scrimmages in July.
-
What a rollercoaster ride! There was the exacta on Monday, followed by a casher on Thursday, finally culminating in a painful $5 WSD on Friday.
I could probably go without any more excitement for the rest of June.

this is the last post I'll make in this thread, two more games to go max.
