« Last post by Game Girl on Today at 08:03:39 PM »
on a rerun today they were talking about on the showcase giving 50 movies 50 years. One for each year. I was just curious curious which ones they chose. (I know it's ghostbusters was one but you know how they are set up). I was trying to check on the recap but having some problem finding the episode. I will put this in the price was right section but there was no area for season 50 yet. assistance would be appreciate.

Upon the launch of the Pluto channel for Brady's LMAD in July, I wonder if it will include the earliest episodes with Alison Fiori, or if it will be strictly Tiffany Coyne episodes?

And I wonder if this latest development could be a sign that a PlutoTV channel devoted to Drew's TPIR could see the light of day in the foreseeable future?

I've thought for a while now that once Drew's version ends, it'll go to Buzzr.  Provided it's still around, of course.

Rather than bumping Ccooks thread about the cancellations of four primetime game shows that aired on ABC, that also included talk about other primetime game shows. I am starting a new one to cover the general primetime game shows airing in the coming weeks or will soon be premiering months from now.

First up is a trailer for Password from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallons YouTube channel. Though the trailer may be focused too much on Jimmy Fallon, it revealed that Heidi Klum, Jon Hamm, and Martin Short are among the celebrity guests on the show in a two night premiere (August 9 at 10/9 & August 10 at 9/8).

I don't believe this is correct.  Scott injured his knee after playing Dice Game (jumping up and down after he won).  Bob did spin the wheel for him and I think he was in a director's chair for the Showcases.

No, he injured his knee originally when the car was revealed. He injured it for a second time when he lost the car at the end of the game.

This site's FAQ Timeline has a few incidents mentioned, although technically none during the gameplay portion of a pricing game:

February 16, 1998: "Monday show features Scott, the well-known contestant who injured his knee before a playing of Dice Game; in the wake of his injury, Bob spins the Big Wheel for him."

Rod is announcing, though hed be out for a bit with Bob Hilton filling in for him. According to Matthew Kaiser, he recalled a story Bob Hilton told when he sat in for Rod, after Rod became the new permanent announcer on TPIR. Charlie ODonnell sat in for him on Press Your Luck for April 1-15, 1986
