Yep, that's right--the Avatar thread is back! A new opportunity for our users to explain their current or new avatar. Hopefully we can all learn a little more about each other.
Now that hockey season's over (and I'll take this opportunity to say I called it 8-)), I can go back to what I do best.

Next week is the 25th anniversary of Family Feud premiering on CBS with Ray Combs as host. I found a color version of one of the publicity photos of the second incarnation of the show to use as my avatar.

Not a bad time to update my avatar, eh?
My new avatar is a purchase I made earlier this month; it's a copy of Ledisi's out-of-print debut entitled "Soulsinger", which was released in 2001 on the indepedent label LeSun Records. Ledisi is a fairly popular artist nowadays, so it's quite difficult to find a reasonable price for this CD online; most copies sell around $20 each, but I managed to find one for under $7. I've been frequently listening to it on my iPod ever since and it's a great record. "Papa Loved to Love Me", in particular, is a very haunting song. I'd recommend the album to any soul or jazz fan.

My avitar is of me spinning the big wheel when The Price is Right Live! came to St. Louis this past Friday night (October 25, 2013) at the Peabody Opera House. Todd Newton is from the St. Louis area so it was great meeting him. The wheel is heavy. Here it is Sunday and my arm still hurts.

I'm a bona fide NFL junkie and I live in Arizona so that's where my Arizona Cardinals avatar comes from. I live about 4.3 miles south of Sun Devil Stadium where the Cardinals played from 1988-2005 before moving to University of Phoenix Stadium in 2006.

Don't worry about it. I just keep a close tab on this thread because this thread, and by extension my avatar, are pretty much the only things I still maintain on this site. :-)
(Of course, if this thread had been inactive for over 30 days, I would have renamed your thread "The Avatar Thread v6.0" to satisfy my OCD.)

My avatar might be a little difficult to see, but it's Cotton Hill from 'King of the Hill' shooting a piņata at Bobby's birthday party. Hence the "come and get your tootsie rolls!" as my signature.

My signature is supposed to be what would happened if she was unhappy with the Price Christmas Eve show, but I guess this should imply the whole week, in general (including the Kids special that was on today), so don't be too surprised if I tweak that signature a little.

Since I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball Z, I'm using the famous picture of Vegeta where he and Nappa meets Goku for the first time, and after reading Goku's power level, Vegeta shouts out the famous quote, "It's over 9000!!!!!!" (hence the picture)

I don't know how old it is, but I liked the look of this highway sign.
Those are the very original 1950s New Jersey Turnpike Big Green Signs (BGSs) for Exit 5 to Burlington and Mount Holly, New Jersey. Those signs have not existed in almost three decades at least.
