Title: New Pricing Game Idea - Is That It?
Post by: GameShowFan1987 on October 27, 2017, 01:42:07 PM
Very simple concept.  You're shown a prize with a price that might be the wrong price, might be the right price.  Drew explains this to the contestant then asks "Is That It?" and you tell him yes or no.  Flip it over.  If it's the same price, you win; if it's something else, you lose.

No frills, no confusion, no substance.

(Pretty sure you figured out this isn't serious by now.)

Very nice!

It is pretty similar to Double Prices though. People could confuse the two games. Here's an idea to differentiate the two: If you're not sure, you can take $500 and bail.

Also I have an idea for the presentation. To make it more exciting the contestant is locked in an isolation booth. The price is revealed to the audience. If the contestant doubts themselves they can change their answer but they have to give up the $500.

Also there's lifelines and a money tree involved but we'll get to that later.

It sounds a lot like Switch? and One Wrong Price except with one prize
