Title: Stars/User ranking
Post by: PIR85 on October 17, 2007, 11:48:52 AM
Is there not a 5-star level anymore?  It seems to go from 4 to 6.  (With some of the posts reaching about 3,000 for people, maybe the ranking levels should be revised???)

I'll let Robert answer the first question, but I've actually been thinking about redoing the star system -- I just haven't had the time.  If any of you have some good ideas, email 'em to me at marc@golden-road.net.  Should we end up using your idea, I'll send you a little something (like a DVD game).

There still is a 5-star level for 500-999 posts. :-)

I might be blind, but I can't find the following info anywhere on the FAQ:  how many posts does it take to become "In the audience", "In contestants' row", etc., up through "Double showcase winner"?

Here's a feast for your eyes; the rankings and the number of posts associated with each.

Outside in Line (1 star): 1-49 posts
In the Audience (2 stars): 50-149 posts
In Contestant's Row (3 stars): 150-299 posts
Walking the Golden Road (4 stars): 300-499 posts
Taking a Bonus Spin (5 stars): 500-999 posts
Double Showcase Winner (6 stars): 1,000+ posts
