Show
Results: 3 out of 6 THIS RECAP IS PRODUCED SOLELY FOR GOLDEN-ROAD.NET |
Sorry, was occupied today. All the recaps from this week will be done this weekend as I find the time.
About that reveal......Drew, please, just read the ARP. That was the WORST reveal I think he has ever given. He really spoiled the result in my opinion.
You know there's no game that makes it more apparent that most of our contestants have never seen the show before than Clock Game. We've had our pitiful playings this season, but the last two playings have been examples of people who clearly hadn't seen it before, took a few seconds to catch on but then figured it out. Unfortunately, this game doesn't offer THAT much margin of error for that, so one of them barely got the win and today one didn't.Clock Game really separates the viewers from the non-viewers. If you watch the show and keep your cool, it's virtually impossible to lose. But we've seen players who are all over the place. I think Drew gets flustered by the bizarre play. Today we saw another player who started with small hops in price ($100), who then took a big leap right as he was approaching the right price. It's unfortunate and shows he wasn't think. When you have very little data early on, that's when you want to make big leaps to zero in on the price. BTW, did anyone else notice that Drew seemed to have something in his mouth during Clock Game - like candy or a loose dental appliance.
I agree with you, except that he needs to actually give the rules to the showcase once in a while, when time permits. Just saying "pay attention to the showcases, could go to either one of you", doesn't give any idea to the casual viewer as to what the rules for showcase are. Just giving the rules properly once every week would suffice.Or, at the very least, on just the late Wednesday taping, for example (so every six days).
I didn't like Drew's reveal. While some might have interpreted it as leading up to her just missing a DSW, I figured it out from the way her said it, and it blew the suspense for me. Celestine was a great player, though, and I really enjoyed watching someone win that much.
I really wish someone would intentionally miss the second digit on Cover Up.
I wish someone would intentionally miss the second digit, EXPLAIN TO THE AUDIENCE WHY, and have it get through editing so it permanently changes the way it's played for the rest of the game's existence.

Hi there! Okay, mt0708 would like to apologize for everything that he's done to cause you trouble and hopefully it won't happen in the future. If it's all right with you, would you like to unban him? If not, how long will the ban last?
Well, mt0708, I think it is a permaban for that account, and this account.
I immediately thought that she had missed by $249 or something like that. Is eight DSWs for a season a record?I know they had quite a few in season 37, but I can't remember if there were more than 8 or not.

You know its ironic that this has happened three times in 48 hours on 3 forums I frequent
Actually Kitch, it was the combination of both the tenor (BZZZ!) and bass (MRRRP!) buzzer playing, no losing horns.
