Title: CBS affiliates airing LMaD at 3pm
Post by: ssetta on September 30, 2017, 07:49:18 AM: Most CBS affiliates seem to air Let's Make a Deal at 10am, right before TPiR. It actually seems to be normal, and makes sense since they're both game shows. But it seems like some of the smaller affiliates still air it at 3pm, from back when it was Guiding Light. The only affiliates I know that air it at 3 are WABI, WCAX, WTVH, WSEE, and WHIO. I'm sure there's others as well. Does anyone have a CBS affiliate that still airs LMaD at 3? And is there a reason why it's still like that?

I would imagine it has to do with not wanting to move well-performing syndicated programming out of the 10am slot.

Post by: whowouldeverhurtawhammy on October 20, 2017, 01:53:09 AM: I live in Houston (affiliate, KHOU-TV), and Let's Make a Deal airs at 2:00pm Central Time, which would equate to airing at 3pm Eastern time. That being said, the reason for this is because of local interest, such as Great Day Houston, which airs at 9am over here, then The Price is Right.
