Season 36 as a whole has aged terribly, so probably best they don't air it...
How about 37? "The Price Is Right but the Show Is Off-Brand"?! Horribly written showcases, gunky sounding music, that damn purple wheel, about 100 too many models, and the ever popular dinner combo of fried chicken and pie.

That stick save by Adin Hill... wow - this has to be the save of the playoffs let alone Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. If that had not occurred, the outcome could have been different.

We'll have to see what Game 2 brings and how this series will play out, and whether if Florida has a chance to win the series, or even Games 3 and 4 when Florida plays at home.

You can contact Fremantle, specifically their office in Burbank. Once you call, explain why you're calling and ask to speak with the archivist. They should be able to help you. Their contact information can be found here.

Fair warning, they'll most likely charge a hefty fee for retrieval and digitization of the episode.

....is there a way to watch or buy these?

Send an email to archive@fremantle.com, tell them what you know about the episode (air or tape date, episode number, your mother's name, etc.). Let us know if you hear anything back from them!

The TALK Is Right / Looking for an episode from 1980

Hello there - sorry for the bother, but my mom just found some paperwork from when she was a contestant on the Price is Right back in the 80s! Apparently she won a bunch of stuff, and it drove my dad nuts because they had to pay taxes on everything. :) It was May 20th, 1980 (Season 8, Episode 163), is there a way to watch or buy these?

Thanks so much!

The TALK Is Right / Re: Price is Right Wheel on Etsy

The art is what it is. It's the art from the show. The 3d print wheel is an impressive feat of engineering. They even accounted for the gap in the arrow wall where you can see the amount through the arrow wall. I think the size is perfect. Any bigger and it would be too big in my opinion, but everyone has their own tastes/desires.

Price is Right Recaps! / Re: TPiR Recap - 6/2/2023

Did something happen before the playing of Double Prices?

It appears that they wanted to shoot the first and second games without stopping, but to do that, they needed to get Pick-a-Pair out of the way, either by storing it in an empty door 2 or by letting it sit in front of door 1. Either way, that wouldn't work for the usual staging of Double Prices. So they told Drew to stand between doors 2 and 3 for Double Prices, but it looks like Drew was under the assumption that the prize would still be in door 2.

Painful loss in Temptation. However, she got redemption by winning her showcase.

Yeah, despite Florida's awesome run, I agree here; I think it ends at the hands of Vegas in 6.  Pretty much the same exact prediction from another Sunshine State professional team in another sport.  Again, a great series would be nice with yours truly being okay with the eventual winner of the Stanley Cup
