So much for the 29 game winning streak. Now it's a case of where Georgia (27-24 loss to Bama) lands in the playoffs, provided they make it there. The Bowl Selection show tomorrow will tell all.

At least they didn't switch back and forth between calling it a win and a loss, like they did with Buy or Sell.

They did?

This has probably been answered at some point in the long history of this forum:

On one of the episodes that was shown last night (11/28), Give or Keep ended in a tie (and per Bob, the contestant wins in that situation). From what the group collectively knows about the history of this game (which admittedly may not be much especially for these very early episodes), was this the only time that ever happened? It's almost hard to believe that the prices of the prizes offered had a scenario where a tie could have even occurred, but again, the show was in its infancy, so it's presumably not something the producers had given much prior thought to.

EDIT: I just remembered that this occurred on an episode that was shown after the block of Tuesday’s Season 1 episodes (so from Season 11-ish). My apologies for any confusion. But I’d still love to know if a tie in Give or Keep ever happened again.

I remember one Give or Keep tie where the final item the player kept was $46, so if that wasn't the last price on the episode you saw, then there was more than one tie. At least they didn't switch back and forth between calling it a win and a loss, like they did with Buy or Sell.

So visit 16 has come and gone and again I wasn't chosen.

But I have another ticket to a taping on 12-5-23. Maybe 17 is the lucky number......

Anyone have any thoughts?

Keep going, keep finding ways to have fun. There’s no way to Konami Code the interview. Best not to worry about things out of your control.

A few years back at Television City there was a frequent local visitor named Rosendo. He had a job that left his mornings free, and was a huge fan, so he showed up at every morning taping for weeks and weeks and months and months. Finally, on the 9000th episode, he was called on down and won a car. It was his 180th taping since keeping track. He’s easily the unofficial record holder.

I imagine if he was frustrated at not getting picked, he would have quit long before his 180th taping. But I was able to talk with him on one of my trips and clearly he was a passionate fan who was having a good time, even when he was seated off to the back of to the side. He was there to clap and cheer and enjoy himself and watch people win before going to his real job, and that alone was worth his time even without winning fabulous prizes.

Be present, have fun, let your emotions show. But let them show because it’s fun, not because you’re hoping to earn something.

Getting 21.5, likely no.

No for me too haha.

In terms of big picks, I stayed away from this game for sure.  Iowa's game makes it very difficult for big favorites to cover.  So I do feel a win for Michigan, but 21.5 is still a big number.  Not sure why 3/5 of College Gameday picked Iowa as they pick outright winners, not winners against the spread

It's an episode of the show that aired back in February.

No faith in Iowa, I'm guessing

Texas QB Quinn Ewers throws for 452 yards and 4 TDs as Texas captures the Big 12 crown, a 49-21 win over Oklahoma State. Ohio State is effectively eliminated from the playoffs; Texas' fate hinges on what FSU does in the ACC title game later.

No faith in Iowa, I'm guessing
