I wanted to be the first to wish Punch-A-Bunch a happy 100th straight loss by airdates.

May we never reach this mark again for any game not named Plinko.

Oh, if Kristyn had only chosen the 8 for the last digit on her third try, she would've been the first aired CU winner of the season &  left w/ over $20.5K.

I have a feeling this current aired car PG losing streak will end tomorrow or Thurs.

4,10 PUNCHED - DOESN'T CONTAIN $25,000
more at 11:00

Another 1/6 show today?!! I'm getting sick and tired of this.

L7 for a Camaro (The Kiss of Death)? (facepalm while shaking my head) Well, it wouldn't be the first time this has happened............Remember the season premiere?

CU was so close, and yet so far away.

What a semi-fail on Punch............Should he kept going, he would've gotten $10K.

Someone needs to stop the car game losing streak.

The nightmare must end...........................

But Pay The Rent is liable to reach that mark.......which, if you stop and think about it, wouldn't be at all surprising.

Someone finally punched 4,10! Hooray! The mystery is over! It makes sense that 10K would still be there. If it was there during the Bob era, why move it?

That has to be one of the more painful "what could have been"s in Punch-A-Bunch's history. He should've kept going, especially after he realized he could due to misunderstanding the rules. He could've made it out with 5K (because he wasn't throwing that away).

So now the question remains, where is 25K hiding and when will anyone find it?

Other than that, ho hum show. Same old Cover Up. Same old Lucky $even. Same old Camaro overpricing. Same old not knowing the pairs of vehicle rule. Same old.

Race Game was kind of a mess. That 4K price kind of threw you, but at the same time she didn't play all that well.

I was also very worried that the $25K would be in Hole #40 when he stopped at $2.5K right away.

Very highly unlikely.

Man, we are really in a total rut right now, both with lineups and results (although I did like the slotting of this one, especially in the 2nd half), as we continue to overplay certain car games to get losses in. The interesting moment of today's show was obviously Punch. 4,10 was finally punched and...aw, it's not 25k! That shows that maybe they ARE moving it around between 2-3 choice locations. Still, that has to be one of the most heartbreaking Punch playings I've ever seen. We had a lot of $2500 bails initially when the amount was first introduced (and it's a perfectly reasonable thing to do given the board odds, although I wouldn't necessarily do it on the first of 4 punches), but we haven't had many lately. Does anyone here know if a playing like today has happened before? (i.e. someone has bailed in Punch and missed out on not just one, but TWO higher amounts?) I wonder what the reaction was backstage when 4,10 was finally punched.

Race Game was played completely terribly today, but the random $4895 bike in there sure didn't help things. Please stop putting random stuff in Race Game to cause problems. Frequently, the contestants will cause their own problems.

Timings:
Cover Up (5) - 5:11
Side By Side (3.5) - 2:42
Race Game (5) - 5:25
Punch A Bunch (5.5) - 6:15
Double Cross (4) - 3:12
Lucky $even (4.5) - 3:56
Total (27.5): 26:41

Nice win on Double Cross! :-)  Pretty blah other than that, IMHO.

I thought for sure that Kenrick had found the $25,000 slip when he punched out hole 4, 10 on Punch A Bunch.  It sure makes me wonder if there really is a $25,000 slip in the punch board.

There's a group called Standards & Practices which regulates gameshows and makes sure that it is fairly run and no rigging, etc. happens.

I can assure you there is a $25,000 slip somewhere in the board.

I felt so bad for the Punch-A-Bunch contestant, I haven't seen anyone hit the 10k in a long time (and not being able to take it home, at that!) ...

To be honest, I would feel tempted to take the 2500 as well ... odds show you that you show (according to what's in there) ...

He lost out in contestants row as well (which Drew kept mentioning) and was snubbed at the wheel as well, with not enough on his second spin ... just wasn't his day!

Well, he got the opening prize and the $2,500 so ... better than nothing!!!

Do you guys like Double Cross?

I feel like I see this game all the time ... Price is Right's attempt at a very tech-savy piece of equipment ... fairly easy game, though I see people struggle with the moment sometimes ...
Never used a touchscreen before? lol

I'd rather see Rat Race compared to this ... more of a "game" then this sliding thing lol

With the way Drew acted and sounded, I thought at first that Kendrick punched the $25,000 hole with his last punch. Thinking about it now, Drew probably was reacting to the $5000 and then the $10,000 cards being revealed.

If I were in Kristyn's position playing Cover Up, after getting the first two digits correct (the 1 and the 8 ) I would have chosen 4s for the other three, thinking surely one of those 4s would be correct. :)

I would have lost right away. :(

And speaking of Cover Up, and this might sound a bit harsh, but Drew saying something like "I don't even know why they even have those numbers there - they're wrong anyway"  and then immediately saying "You're going to Cover Up(emphasis added by me) these wrong numbers with the right numbers" was just stupid. Drew, the game is called Cover Up!! No numbers down there to start, no numbers to cover up!

Drew has a fair point. Those number truly are meaningless. That whole row could be the Todson/Goodman daisy, and they would be still covering up something. The false price provides no hint or any help in playing the game, it's merely window dressing.

In fairness, it does. After all, the hole had not been punched for about eight years.

That said, I vaguely remember someone finding the $10,000 during the insipid "one $25,000, one $10,000" era.

I'd say the numbers there have a purpose, and Drew in fact said it, after saying that they had none: they are there to be covered up. They are not there to provide a hint or help. They form a wrong price to be covered up by, hopefully, the correct one.

If they stick G-T asterisks down there, then you're just covering up some random symbol that they stuck in to force the game's name to mean something.  With numbers down there, though...well, as Bob said many times, you're covering up the wrong numbers with the right numbers.  It all flows completely logically.
