Anyone remember someone by the name of Bill Caruthers (or Carruthers) who appeared on Scrabble? I'm wondering if he was the one who created the famous Press Your Luck show on CBS. I know I could be wrong, but it's a thought that's been nagging me for a while.

Considering that Press Your Luck was in production while Scrabble was, I heavily doubt it.
