<----- That's me in the front row of the audience in today's show in the Maryland shirt.

Apparently us in the chat thought there was an edit at the end of Coming or Going - I think that the camera just cut Bob off fairly quickly.

However, there was an edit on the 2nd Showcase Showdown - Bob and the Dob both thought Remedios' 2nd spin didn't go all the way around while Jeff thought it did.  After stopping tape they ruled it did go all the way around - but it actually didn't, the wheel started on .25 on her 2nd spin.

Five Price Tags: Okay, I can understand missing the first two chances, but the last one shoulda been won. My first instinct was to go low with $21,040 or $22,215. That would've worked.

It's in the Bag: Well, I thought Danielle would've won $8,000 and bailed there. I was wrong on that, but right about the Birdola.

Eazy as 123: I thought it was easy, but it wasn't easy enough for Jesse to blow it.

Coming or Going: That armoire must be pretty expensive for me to Come. Instead I went/gone on this one.

One Away: Remedios' questions made me want to drop a microphone a couple of time. When I saw an all-red price for the second chance, I was ready to sound The Buzzer.

One Bid 6: Again we have a laggard who has the last bid advantage. I kinda wanted Nicole to bid 1000. We should've bidded 1801. We scored a love.

Switch?: If I see a gas grill that is more expensive than a dining group, I would surely switch the prices. I think Brady blew this one too.

Five Price Tags was a tough playing today. I would have gotten two picks, those being $23,305 and either $24,840 or $22,215 for the second choice. I don't think we've ever seen that drink station before either.

I was stuck between choosing the bath wand and the bird feed for the $3.99 bag. I had a strange feeling the bird feed was $1.99, but it was $3.99, and everything else was easy. I can't blame her for stopping too, I might have.

Eazy as 1-2-3 should have been won. And Coming or Going was tough at first, but then I realized it was two prizes, so it had to be the even price. So I chose $3524.

What was up with Remedios? Asking if she could keep the 2 after Bob just told you that the car is not $27,636 and that each number is one away was just silly. But then her asking "Which ladies?" was a little funny. Anyway, after she switched the 8 to a 6, I knew she lost.

Switching the prices or keeping them was kind of a toss-up for me today. I know that there is one dining group from C&J that is worth about $2200, but I also remembered there being a Napoleon grill (or was it a stove) that was around $1900. But I would have switched them after thinking about it.

When Bob started "eighteen-thousand", I was afraid that there would be another DSW. But both Brady and Danielle bid well.

There are three reasons why I would've won FPT in 1 pick, even though I would've had three (the drink stuff tripped me)

1) I know that base car prices normally end in 995 or 990.

2) Engine Block Heaters (The only option) only run from $30-$50

3) 8 times out of 10, the cheapest price is right.

This only happens on rare occasions, but I wanted to hug Danielle. :D  She seemed like that kind of person.

Is it just me or did Nicole look like she was in Mean Girls?

Yay Five Price Tags!  Always fun to see!  They actually got the third price tag deilluminate on camera today!  They don't seem to catch that on camera too often.

Remedios gave us a fun playing of One Away today.  Why would she want to leave the 2 alone when it's obviously wrong?  Who knows.  It was funny that Bob said she could leave it alone, but she shouldn't... I wonder if Bob actually would have allowed her to keep the 2 if she insisted, though?

And of course, asking about what ladies Bob was talking about.  I'm actually surprised more contestants don't ask what Bob's talking about with the ladies in this game.

Speaking of Remedios, I actually had to check my tape to see what happened in the second showcase showdown.  And it looked like the wheel did start on 70¢, so I guess counting the spin was correct.  For some reason, I was thinking it started on 25¢ myself.  I'm not sure why.  There was obviously some editing going on, though, with the wheel in one spot one moment, then a slightly different spot the next moment... blargh!  Dizzying!

Danielle's group was apparently paying little attention to what was going on in It's in the Bag.  Danielle's group gets her to quit with $2000, then we find out that she could have won $4000, and they're cheering about it?  Uh... Dani's group?  That wasn't a cheering moment.  That was more of a "hang our heads in shame" moment.

Even if Jesse's never played golf in his life, he should have won Eazy az 1-2-3.  While I can understand him thinking the golf clubs would've been cheaper than they were, you'd think he would've also figured that the silverware would've been cheaper than it was.  I mean, really, who spends $1000 on silverware?

Considering Brady's annoying indecisivness in the showcase, I was glad that Danielle won.  It would have been nice if Danielle had been off by about $2000, though:  I would have loved for it to have wound up that Danielle won, but would have lost if Brady went with his original $2300 bid.  Oops, I mean $23,000 (http://www.angelfire.com/la3/goldenroad15/misc/smile3.txt).

I like the name Ophelia.  Shouldn't be as rare a name as it is.

I missed seeing the show as usual, but it looks like I didn't miss much.  *shakes her head*

With the typical Monday show, there have been four straight shows without car games won.  It must be "You win a car and get beat up in the parking lot" time again.  BWAHAHAHAHA!  You gotta love the Dob!

Did the IITB player accidentally boo-boo and stop when she should have went on?  I can't understand the IITB recaps sometimes, and it looks like she would have won!  Thank you, audience.  (Like I said, I didn't see the show so I am using my gut reaction here.)

Oh, well, six more shows to go before the break.  I'll probably miss about three or four of them, too.  BWAHAHA!

Later, all!

5 Price Tags:  I would have screwed up on everything except the food dehydrator.  None of those prices looked right on the car.  The right one looked a little cheap, all but one had repeating digits, and the one that didn't have repeating digits was way high.  I would have guessed 23,305 like Terry and lost.

It's in the Bag:  I would have won.  Danielle should have gone one more, but she listened to her friends and quit.  It's better to have quit sooner rather than later and leave with nothing.

Easy as 1,2,3:  I would have guessed right.  I knew when Jesse put the 1 on the golf clubs, he was wrong.

Coming or Going:  Could have gone either way.  $4253 and $3524 were both plausible, $3524 more so.  She went with $3524, like I did, and won.

One Away:  Remedios really ticked me off.  When she asked "can I keep the 2", it really irritated me.  Bob just said 30 seconds ago, each number is 1 away from the real number.  None of the numbers are correct.  You have to change all of them.  Duh.  I knew she'd lose.  When she changed the 8 to a 6, I knew it was all over.  Painful playing.

Switch:  That barbeque did not look 2275.  The dinette looked like it would be 2275 not the grill.  I would have done the opposite of what Brady did and won.

Showcases:  I bid 19,059 (my mom's 59th birthday is today) on the second showcase.  I figured it would be around 19,200.  I was wrong, it was only 18,550.  Danielle bid very well, and won a really cool showcase.

I loved the model's dresses today.  Green is my favorite color.  They really looked great today.

All of the model's wardrobe is great. My mom was mean about Gabrielle today. After the camera zoomed out on the fusion drinks, and Gabi got in the picture, my mom said "Oh, she's looks horrible!" I felt so bad for Gabi, especially since she's one of the prettiest models on the show today, in my opinion.

By the way, were the models switching between Nina Austin and Attitudes today? During Eazy as 1-2-3 it appeared that they were wearing Attitudes.

Pricehulk, I know I shouldn't do this, Mods, but is something up with you rating episodes based on games won/loss only?  I wouldn't be shocked if you are offically expelled from this site.

5PT: I can't fault Terry for losing.  I too would have bobbled everything but the dehydrator and the iron.  I would have said $23,305.

IITB: I would have nailed every bag on the nose. I can't fault Danielle for bailing out.

Easy as 1-2-3: I knew Jesse lost once he placed #1 on golf clubs.

COG: I figured that $3524 was correct.

One Away: Oh my.  Remedois got me on my nerves.  I was really angry at her when she said "can I keep the 2?"  This is one of those times where I was glad to see her lose.

Switch?: I knew Brady lost once he left those prices alone.

Showcase: I was sure Danielle was over on the Games SC.  I would have said $16,000.

Overall: A good show due to Bob in a great mood.

Five Price Tags: Wow, they actually added an option for the car in this game?!? When's the last time that happened?
I would have gotten the first and third small prizes right. I knew what the car price was from the start. Neat that they added the spinning turntable as well.

It's In The Bag: Getting the first three bags should have been easy enough, but I could understand missing the last two.

Easy as 1-2-3: He didn't waste any time, but he didn't win.

Coming Or Going: The Coming price looked more right to me.

One Away: No excuse for this being lost. She should have obviously changed the third and fourth digits. But then, I should have realized that her stupid question at the beginning was a bad omen later on.

Switch?: I thought grills were getting expensive and dinettes were cheap now.

Showcase: The game room showcase was a lot cheaper than I thought.

Overall: After It's In The Bag, things pretty much went downhill from there.

Actually, from my point of view from the audience, I saw that before spinning the wheel that she moved the wheel to the .25 space first - which Jeff Thisted nor the Dob caught when checking the tape.  Before they stopped tape though, Brady had already started to spin - which explains why the wheel was in a different position after Remedios' spin.

Hmm... you know Voltron, that leads to an interesting question.  For the "has to get all the way around" rule, I'm guessing it counts from where the wheel was intended to start, and not from the point where it actually starts.  Because then, you might get a contestant who pulled the wheel up to get extra power on the spin, like say the wheel started on 70¢, but the contestant pulled it back to 10¢ to spin.  If the contestant lands on 45¢, would that count as a complete spin?  I'm not sure, really... I would think probably not.  I think it matters more where the wheel was meant to start than where the wheel actually did start, at least from this incident.  But is there actually any precedent for this sort of situation, anyway?  I can't help but think that since the wheel "started" on 70¢, even if it's not where the contestant actually started spinning, that it would count.

But blergh... might be interesting to ask Roger about this kind of situation, really.

PG #1 - Turntable action in Tags!  :-P  Am I crazy or did somebody finally replace the infamous blown light bulb in that third giant price tag?

PG #2 - :-o  Baggy again?!  That's four weeks in a row now, and the second time in three shows!  On top of that, the SP/GP games go back-to-back in the first half for the umpteenth time this season.  Looks like the contestants and audience members are starting to learn how expensive Capzasin is... but now the Tidy Cats is becoming the new problem GP.

PG #3 - Have I mentioned yet how much I'm getting sick of Sleazy as 1-2-3?  Pretty tough setup today, for a change.  I also would've put 1 on the golf clubs and 2 on the hostess set.

PG #4 - That was also tough.  Both prices looked good.  I came... and lost.

PG #5 - That had to be the easiest setup of OA that I have seen in years.  It was obvious to me--and probably 99% of this forum--that four of those five numbers were dead giveaways.  $18,xx5 was automatic... and the double 5s made no sense, so 7 had to be the third digit.  Either score the exacta with $18,725... or get 4 right with $18,745 and change the 4.  Roger practically made this game a forced win... and, just like the May 24 playing of Bonus Game, it somehow got lost!  Then again, I'm not entirely surprised this game was lost today, considering that Remedios had no idea how this game worked (i.e., asking "Can I keep the 2?" and "Which ladies?")

One-Bid #6 - Good to see you, Voltron!

PG #6 - Another easy win that somehow ended in a loss.  Small dinette versus small barbecue... the dinette is still gonna come out more expensive.  "I'm gonna start throwing things at the TV if either Remedios or Brady hit a dollar on the Big Wheel."

SCSD #2 - *throws pillows at the TV*

Showcases - Man, I thought we were gonna have another DSW after Bob said "$18,000".  In any case, I was praying that Brady would screw himself out of a DSW after Melloing his bid.

My bids - FRTS:  $23,250.  FRGRS:  $19,400.

Why, they haven't, I had no idea, but maybe 2 people posting this will help

5 tags: 21k was obvious for us, but not the average contestant

Baggy: Again so soon? I guess this is the new "overplayed" cash game, Plinko lost that title months ago. And that Tiddy Cats was there again! This is about the most used item, next to Dolphins and Friends crackers back in 2000.

123: Gotta go with BRB on this, another over played game. At least he did get the tractor in the right spot, but still lost

COG: Both looked good actually, and no 5 for the end digit factoring into this either(for a change!)

OA: All red for the price, I figured being "all low" wasn't going to happen and it didn't

Switch: Shouldn't have been lost. Note(and it probably isn't a big deal)...2 "50/50" games in the same show(COG and Switch, whoa Roger definitely didn't wanna 6/6 today)

Very good showcase bid, but I thought she was slightly over. Hey, she won, and I'll shut my mouth :D

Eazy az 1 2 3 is no fun when it's played quickly. (http://www.golden-road.net/grnoldx/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

I'm impressed that Coming or Going was won -- the game was actually quite a bit harder than usual.

Remedios was a hoot, despite playing One Away extremely badly.  (Has the right price ever been all one color?)  I about died when she asked Bob, "which ladies?" (http://www.golden-road.net/grnoldx/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif)

There is no way I would have won Switch? today.

I'm glad Danielle won the Showcase, because I thought Brady came off as kind of a goof.

Apparently us in the chat thought there was an edit at the end of Coming or Going - I think that the camera just cut Bob off fairly quickly.

So that wasn't my station screwing up?

No, I think that was an oops.  The copy had to be re-read, I believe.

Today's show was a pretty good show. It did have it's share of stupid contestants, but it was all around good.

5 Price tags- I walked away to get ready for the day and thought for sure this guy would win it. Unfortunately he played horribly when I watched it on the tape. I picked the $21,040 simply because I've seen a lot of Chevy's that linger around $21,000. And wasn't it amazing Terry couldn't figure out where to stand before the car reveal?

It's in the Bag- I did just about as well as Danielle, or Danny L. as Bob called her. The Tidy Cat puzzled me. I probably wouldn't have blamed her for taking the 2 grand.

Eazy as 1-2-3: The least expensive prize was a toss-up between the golf clubs and the hostess set. They both looked cheap. I yelled at the TV, like that helps, and wanted Jesse to put the 1 on the hostess set. He didn't, but then I thought well maybe he's right. Unfortunately he wasn't.

Coming Or Going: That was a weird playing. It was one of those prices that looked totally wrong when it was the right price.

One Away: If I could sum up today's playing in one word, it would be "wow." It was a case where we had a loyal fan who knew absolutely nothing about this game. I hate when contestants try and make themselves look like they're smart when they just made themselves look totally stupid on TV. Bob showed her the wrong price. Bob then asked her if she wanted a 1 or a 3 as the first number and she asked if she could leave it at 2. Later Bob said "now ask them ladies do I have one number right" and she said "what ladies???" And you obviously knew when she made her changes she made an instant loss for herself because every number was red. Usually there's a good mix of red and blue.

Switch: I'm surprised he lost. To me that Dinette looked like $1200+ and the barbeque= $2275.

Showcases: my heart almost stopped because I thought Danielle had won both showcases. Still an amazing bid nontheless.

Hot chick of the day: Danielle
Amazing contestant of the day: Remedios and her playing of One Away

Today's grade: C+
